Illan Messlier is a free agent now and Arsenal and Man Utd are reportedly interested in signing him as a backup. Might jeopardize the Johnstone sale as well as blocking us from signing Radek Vitek.
Messlier is a good Championship keeper and I think a really good option for a free agent signing.

He's not good enough to be a first choice keeper in the Champ. Prone to some shockingly poor decision making and useless with crosses.

He used to be my favourite gk in the Championship, but he is very error-prone. Kind of like Kepa now, no wonder Arsenal signed him.
