Wolves are in talks to sign Burnley CH defender Dara OShea for I think 8mill.

O’Shea plays as a right sided centre back as does other reported target, Ahmedhodzic from Sheffield United, although I have seen him make strong tackles with his left foot. Only left footed centre back we have is Toti, all the others are right-footed. I would have thought we would be looking for someone to partner Mosquera. Young French defender we apparently had a failed bid earlier this window, Bastien Meupiyou, is left sided but at 18 years of age, would surely be one for the future.

Under no circumstances should we sign O'Shea. He played for them lot down the road therefore he will never be fully committed to us and will only want us to fail. Just like Ramsdale would.

Yes Wandering Star, I mean Bully as an ex Baggie was never fully committed to the Wolves.
I can only think your post was made in jest?

Just like Dawson? Professionalism goes a long way

They’re professional footballers, not football fans. Steve Bull played for Baggies before joining Wolves. Didn’t impact on his commitment to our cause.

Just like Steve Bull?

Wandering Star, so did Dawson and he's turned out to be very committed. There were also a couple signed from them years ago, who turned out to be quite useful.

I was joking guys. The point I'm trying to make is that many a player has supported the opposition team but done well for their arch rivals.
Ally Robertson, Bully. Thompson, Goodman, Jed Wallace, Ned Kelly.
I don't care which team a player supports just as long as they give their all to us when playing.

Found out mate.sum quick research dun ther WS?.and i'd take ramsdale over sa and surely he'd see what an oppurtunity it could be for him too.not that itl happen with the loan situation.still going to need a cb because toti and yerson are probly not upto it together. but we shudnt be lookin at any relegated players.havnt we learnt that lesson?

Not to mention Andy Thompson and Ally Robertson who played down the road.

New poster. Long time reader. I'll admit O'Shea doesn't excite me as the answer to a new defender but if he signs I welcome him and hope to be proven wrong, however why shouldn't we look at relegated players?
Last I checked it was teams who got relegated, not individuals. There are plenty of players with a Premier League relegation on their CV who afterwards went on to win Premier League title medals.
The first 11 looks strong, but we do need some extra depth especially a new centre back and arguably now a natural left back.

Is this the same Armando Broja who failed to register a goal for Fulham (who only got eight appearances)?
