Wolves pull off stunning coup to land 17-year-old wonderkid
Wolves have moved swiftly to capture the signing of 17-year-old right-back Pedro Lima from Sport Recife for around £8.4m.
The Brazilian had been strongly linked with Chelsea, but contrary to previous reports, the player's preference was always Molineux.
Lima is expected to sign a five-year deal with a club option of a further year

Wow. I haven't seen him play but Tim Vickery rates him and he isn't usually wrong about South American players.

Wolves scouts have been sniffing around South America for a few years, and it is paying off. To beat Chelsea to the Pedro Lima signing it a real coup and shows strategic planning for the near future. It also helps that we have several Portuguese-speaking players already.

Interesting signing with the increasing Brazilian and established Portugese presence hopefully the club will become a preferred destination for talented youngsters from Brazil.

I know highlight reels on You Tube can be misleading but, given his age, this looks like a really exciting signing . even more so if Chelsea were remotely interested. The boy looks to be a genuine prospect, a terrific athlete and an instinctive footballer. I just pray it's not another Fabio false dawn. Well done to everyone connected with bringing this signing to fruition.

Makes me laugh how the press are pushing for Cunha to go to Man Utd yet they all reported how he helped to bring in the full back from his home town. Then has said he will take care of him and settle him in a wolves!
