My honest opinion of today's game.

Toti and Agbadou simply aren't good enough. Toti is too error prone and this in turn gives Agbadou too much to do resulting in he making an error too.

Today, I noticed Arias calling for a simple ball to be played through the middle which would have resulted in a pass to Tchatchouma who would have had room to run into and potentially set up a goal, however Toti decided to trap the ball, slow down the play then pass backwards. This is happening too often and is stifling the attacking instincts of Arias, Tchatchouma and Bueno.

Hwang, again did nothing. I think he touched the ball 3 times. Once when he scored, once when he gave the ball away and once when he fell over.

For me. Kdejci, Mosquera and S Bueno need play against Newcastle so that Agbadou can recharge. Toti is simply not good enough. The only positive from today is that Lopez. Wolfe and Rodrigo looked good, we scored 2 goals and we now have 2 weeks to integrate the new signings ready for the Newcastle game.

VP has a big job to do now. But for me, Toti needs dropping and either Gomes or Andre given the captaincy.

I was going to post my observations on today’s game but see Wandering has beaten me to it and I could t agree more. Maybe not VPs fault that he doesn’t appear to know his best starting line up but in fairness it’s difficult to integrate new players with the season under way. Cross fingers for a further couple of further reinforcements before the window closes and for a change I welcome the international break.
