MGW off to Spurs for £60 million. We have a 10% sell on clause on the profit Forest make.
All helps I suppose.
I thought we’d done well when we sold him. Didn’t realise he’d double his price.
Shows how much I know, which is a positive given that I think we will be in a relegation battle this year.

Mixed feelings really whilst the £6m sell on fee will be handy, it will also provide Forest/Nuno with the funds to pursue our two main transfer targets!

Ten percent of profit was my understanding, of course that depends on how the profit is calculated, initial payment, total payments, amortised value, TFIOG may be able to shed light on that one.

Seems that Forest have reported Spurs for making an illegal approach for MGW. Also suggested that Forest may take action against MGW as he began talks with Spurs knowing that Spurs did not have permission.
