See AC Milan interested in ain't Nori if we got a decent price I would sell but we have to take into account 50% goes to Angres I think that's the club we bought him from with a 50% sell on clause. The only reason I would sell is because we have Bueno coming back from Fyenord and reports are saying he's been brilliant and that's in the champions league as well and we would have the Doc as back up.

AIT has 16 months left on his contract so this poses a big problem for the club.

Is it worth the £9.5m buy out fee just to sell him for £25m as he has 1 year on his contract?

Sell him for £25m and give 50% to Angers and take the hit on £3m?

Let him walk at the end of next season on a free knowing that we won't be able to match the wages that other clubs could but safe in the knowledge that we don't owe Angers anything.

Or, finally, activate the 1 year extension at the end of his contract if he's willing to stay as I think this means we don't pay the 50% either.

Wandering do you know if the option to extend is ours or his?

In reality I tend to agree with Shada that although I really rate him very highly we can replace him with Bueno H and if we sell him, albeit it will have to be for a lot more than £25m, we may be able to keep Andre and Gomes J - Cunha I am assuming is already gone!

We will obviously pay the buy out if the 50% is more than £9.5m i.e. anything above £19m so at £25m we would activate the option and receive £15.5m in cash and make profits of £13.5m
Note we bought him for circa £10m 4 years ago on a 5 year contract so he will be in the books at £2m. Selling him for £15.5m gives us a £13.5m profit
If he goes for £40m we pay the £9.5m and make £30.5m in cash and £28.5m in profits. £50m earns us £40.5m in cash and £38.5m in profits.
If we didn't have to pay the Jeff tax though you would extend his contract as he is one of our best players and selling your best players is madness but tragically we do have Jeff (also madness!).

I'd take whatever we can get for RAN. The problem he has always had is that he plays in a defensive position and simply cannot defend. Hugo and Rodrigo to cover that position next season gives me more confidence than RAN, plus Hugo can put in a great cross going forwards.
