As much as I agree with the clear out (in most cases) it's understandable that people not involved with the process will be getting a tad nervous about the scale of it, without anyone yet joining.

Personally, I'm pretty relaxed as long as we don't just gratuitously sell players because we get a decent offer for them as most of the sales/leavers, so far, were either expected or frankly overdue.

My only real concern is that yet again, apart from a couple of Championship names, I'm not yet seeing a focus on strikers in the linked to or rumours reports. I'm sure it will come as I really hope we don't to start yet another season with Raul up front. No disrespect to him but he's no longer the player he was and we will really need goals in us to compete next year.

Hopefully, JL and Hobbs are 'on the case'.

Is it significant that those who are past their sell by date haven, t yet attracted acceptable offers. I had thought there was a queue for the revolving door yet there have only been three sales for significant money. Are the others so unattractive that nobody wants them.

That's fair comment Dobbie but I would suggest that most, if not all of those will finish up abroad and maybe clubs are holding back to grab a bargain later in the window.
