Morning all, only JSL leaves as far as I know, some will say he left in the summer so £48M seems a good price to me.
I am not that familiar with the quality of the 2 we have brought in, however in the position we are to get anyone in is a surprise.
Time will tell if they are good signings, I am sure there will be plenty more outgoings in the summer.
What is everyone else’s opinion?

Banksy
Hard to be critical.
I would have liked more of the dross out - especially if Wolves can get such good prices. This would have helped with the early rehabilitation of the financial position and both prepare for the summer dealings and maybe even allow Wolves to keep some of the better players if possible this summer.
But to get £43m + for Larsen is a really good sale - regardless of what he does at Palace - as he was not much more than a training cone at Wolves .
The 2 boys coming in are very different.
Armstrong is a proven quality Champ player who is simply not enough for the Prem.
He is an ideal short term signing. If Wolves fail next season he should be fairly easy to move on to more ambitious teams albeit it is unlikely that as he moves out of his prime over the next year or so there will be any profit in the sale.
Angel Gomes however is a strange one. A full international only 2 years ago but now struggling to hold a place at Marseille and available for pennies?
He is also willing to come to Wolves where he will almost certainly be playing Champ football next year.
He is either a complete steal and will be brilliant for the club or he is a reclamation project with some risk attached due to his likely high, (Champ level), wage contract.
PS I don't buy the flip argument nor do I believe the parallel argument he is "putting himself in the shop window".
It somewhat incredibly would appear he is resigned to playing in the Champ with Wolves.

Larsen had his head turned by Newcastle and felt he was better than wolves well we will see. On the incoming players Armstrong proven at the championship level so could well prove a good acquisition, Gomes if he is a shadow of others we have taken with man Utd history (Ince, irwin, Ebanks blake) then we will not be disappointed.
As for Agbadou he may still go as window does not close in Turkey until the 6th

Transfer window average thought Wolves might have got a couple more in they did try with Che Adams bid rejected. I would try again in the summer window plus reports Wolves tried to sign a right back Rooij got knocked back. Also Forest tried to sign Wolfe for 14mill Wolves knocked that back lot of work to do in the summer fingers crossed straight back up.

Keeping some of our better players was good considering a lot of people thought they would be gone. Not too much disruption in the team still gives us the slimmest of chances. I think the loans out were a good idea, both to help keep value (Munetsi) and get experience (Lopez). Also nice to see some players with prem experience and homegrown come in.
Surprised more people haven’t said anything regarding that seeing as it was a big gripe. Haven’t heard any guff either, other than Adam’s not getting over the line but that seems to be due to Torino not finding a replacement.
