Sky Sports saying Wolves in talks with Josh Brownhill but Saudis all so in talks. If he wants money no chance of Wolves signing him also he left Burnley will he join Wolves who are going to be fighting relegation. Would be a good signing still think striker CB and another midfielder needed even if Brown low signs.

Brownhill would be a good, experienced signing. He can play as a CM or in a more attacking position. This will allow fluidity in the middle of the park if you play Andre as the DM with Brownhill and Gomes as the CMs and Arias as the CAM behind JSL and Tolu. We also have option with Bellegarde, Rodrigo, Lopez etc providing width, but more importantly, options. What we do need is an upgrade on Toti. Krejci is a decent signing but is he more suited to a back 3 or back 4.

VP has 2 weeks to get this sorted.

Krejci played in a back 3 for Sparta and back 4 for Girona. I assume this is one of the main reasons VP wanted him because of his versatility. Personally I don’t know why we don’t play a 3-5-2 formation (or maybe we will) once Tolu comes in. Having two big guys up top and utilising the delivery of Jackson/Wolfe/Hugo with Arias in front of Gomes and Andre just behind the front two seems like a perfect answer when we don’t have the rolls Royce players with technical quality but do have the tackling ability, size and power to bully defenders?

He was mainly played in midfield for Sparta Pikey so even more of an adaptable utility player
