Long term reader, first time poster
Before anyone reads my question, I'm not trying to be negative or anything like that but I was wandering
Do people think the owner will want us to be the new city or do people think we will end up like QPR?
Again not trying to spread any doom or gloom, just wandering what people's thoughts were

I think eventually, we'll be the new Man U with their credibility, but approached with the slick efficiency that the Man City owner used. I'd say the new Chelsea, maybe as up market but I think more inclusive and real than them, so more genuinely heroic (like Man U) . I think we have the chance of best of all worlds, at least in and to suit the modern world.
I definitely don't think there's a chance we'll be like QPR, because this isn't about ego, Robin Li isn't trying to be the flash big man like the guy at QPR, he's clearly uber professional and slick. And the Chinese kind of literally own money, they effectively underwrite the dollar and all Western currencies. Robin Li is only going to get (much) wealthier, $11b now, maybe $50b or more ten yrs time?
Thinking about identity more and the comment we saw that the Posum Group (the consortium including Robin Li involved buying Milan) want Wolves to be their face in Europe, it makes total sense. AC Milan is a bad-ass badge in a way the Chinese might really like, it's apparently already big in China, I guess a bit for those reasons, I suspect they are buying Milan to exploit their home market. Whereas the Wolf is apparently the modern Chinese image for enterprise / competition, so maybe we'll be for the more modern progressive types in China, but mostly for the image of the Chinese overseas where they are competing. More I think about this the bigger and better this 'might' be.
