I know there us a lit of doom and gloom regarding lack of activity, all of which is justified. But would Moutinho signed for another season if new players weren’t imminent?

Probably waiting for commitment from Moutinho, or offers for Neves has held things up. No need for midfield replacements if they and MGW are staying, which would be my preference but the latter maybe less certain.
I would think they'll be working on a new CF and CH right now, but no idea how long that might take.
Not much point in getting down over it, the window is open until Sept 1st so a lot can still happen before then.

The ink is barely wet on the takeover and already there are many negative posts.
Maybe we do need a new manager who can lift us to the prem. Just remember that KJ came in when we were at a real low point and then won L1 with record points. Second season played some good football, just missing out on playoffs - we all know we punched above our weight that year.
Last season was not good, negative, boring to watch football but the heart of the team was ripped out by either injury or transfers. Was this KJ's fault?
The new owners won't have invested to fail, give them a chance.
