Les Buxton, in a previous post, suggested RAN as a direct replacement for Pedro. Having given the matter some thought, I reckon this is our best option. This way, we wouldn't have to change our successful system.

Don't fancy Sarabia at all, but didn't we sign a winger in the transfer window or am I imagining it? 19 year old?

Blackford - suspect you mean Enso? Apparently he doesn't speak English and consequently is struggling. To be fair when you buy players from overseas this will always be an issue. However I'm sure the club will have facilities in place to help him assimilate and I gather it is hoped he will be ready to play next year.
With respect to the replacement of Neto RAN is certainly an option another surely is the other new lad Bellegarde (sp)?
I'd certainly try and replace Neto like for like rather than change formations and play say Sasa in a new 3, 4, 2, 1 formation.

I think it best to leave RAN where he is doing well and use Sarabia in place of Neto. That keeps the lineup essentially the same. Less changes is probably best at least to start the game. If things aren't working at halftime, changes can be made then

This could be last chance saloon for Sarabia. RAN is probably more technically skillful than neto, but simply doesn't have the physical strength to be a viable neto replacement. So, Sarabia may get his chance, although GON doesn't seem to fancy him, which I can understand. My thinking is, he'll put Sasa in, and put Channy out wide.

I think Bellegarde should come in if he's fit. Likes to run at players like Neto does and has pace and close control.

Replacing Neto temporarily is a task that Gary will be well up to, or should be. This cloud will have a silver lining, and an opportunity for someone else to step up. We have relied on Neto enormously, but opposing players might start dishing out the same treatment to Neto that Adama Traore received. Adama was built like a tank, but Neto would suffer. This is an opportunity to show we are not a one-man team, as the media seems to believe.

Why not try something different with Sasa?
We may be even more successful with him.
Don't know until you try.
He certainly has made some excellent passes and can hold the ball up well.

I agree that Sasa has some similarities to Raul, and I would like Sasa to have more involvement, but that seems to require a change to our formation and style of play. While we are still building stability, I believe we should stay with what has been successful for us over the last 5 PL games. If the current style of play is struggling during games, of course we should mix it up.

In this day and age, at the top level, it's important for forwards to be mobile and to be effective at the defensive side of the game, particularly pressing the opposition defenders.Not sure Sasa's talents are suited to this side of the game so it's likely that his main role will continue to be as a potential impact sub.
