I may got shot down here. I am glad Saiss isn't playing today and my next comment may be a little controversial. I know Saiss has had great stats with passing etc, but it's difficult not to in a team that dominates possession most weeks. He just isn't mobile enough, and for a deep lying, holding/ defensive midfielder, he is awful at tackling and is often reckless. We need a box to box, more mobile and creative midfielder, next to Neves who is the deep lying play maker. We don't need two and I don't think Saiss' passing range is that great, often sideways or non adventurous, especially when you compare to Neves. I'm not saying he's rubbish, but I can't believe rumours that top clubs are in for him such as Liverpool.

Perhaps he'll be on his way before Thursday? and that's why he's not in squad. I'll be sorry to lose him now if that's the case.

I've said it before Saiss is a red card waiting to happen, but in fairness to him he has improved greatly under Nuno.

Official line is he has a hamstring injury.

In Nuno’s post match interview he does say”Saiss has a problem”. He doesn’t say it’s an injury problem. Maybe it’s a problem deciding where his future lies if Wolves have accepted a bid for him. Be a shame to see him go but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.
