Someone over at our friends (ish) MOLMIX says we've took Ruben vinagre on a season long loan from Monaco. 20 year old left back. Arsenal wanted him last year. Sounds like the sort of player we are currently going for.

Vinagre will initially work between the first team and Under-23 groups as he settles in at Wolves in the build up to the new season.

Shame we don't have loads of quality strikers up front that know where the net is! I agree we need to build from the back to the front. However, our front is blunt and needs substantial change for us to seriously challenge what lays before us next season! I'll be happy when I see quality investment in this area. Goals win games. the defence has been overhauled and needed it. Now let's address the sharp end. We could do with an all out attacking midfielder while we are at it.

I agree attacking midfielder that can score a few I think we need 3 strikers as well getting a top class striker seems to b a problem I don't think there's any more players. Left in Portugal.

Its not really a debate. He worked with Nuno at 2 previous clubs and has an excellent reputation as a coach.
Arrogant? Probably high in self confidence and wants to win.
He has realised he is not manager material as yet so hopefully he has learnt from the Hearts experience.
So if Nuno wants him as a coach so be it.

I'm in agreement here guys. I just hope it doesn't upset the equilibrium of the team. We've spent 2 months learning a new system, which I'm sure IC is familiar with. I just don't want him to balls up the momentum we have a couple of days prior to kick off! Christ I'm getting the jitters already!

A brief look on the wolves website doesn't say either way and due to work commitments it's been a while since I went last. Wolves vs Crawley give you any clues!

No Leicester game not going to be sell out. May have nearly sold what tickets are available, but I've been told not all sections of the ground will be open. Maybe wrong but as I say - just what I've been told. Middlesbrough game however nearly sold out. Fair play to the club for putting on some good ticket offers to ensure a bumper crowd. Now us fans need to do our bit and turn Molineux back into a fortress and a place other teams fear coming to. UTW.

Not a hope in hell, only lower teir of North Bank open for Leicester, so other parts of the ground will be similar.

I don't think Lowwolf was trying to suggest the ground will be full. He was simply advising that due to sections of the stadium being closed (as per Villa friendly couple of years ago) Very few, if any tickets will be left. So if all the tickets get sold, it's a sell out .

Is anyone else worried about how many players we should be offloading? We all know we need to. The money is there it seems. A high profile manager (? ) will obviously want certain players of course. Most of which are Mendes related.
But who's in charge of getting rid of the dross? The Ben Hur lot as Lambert described it.
Who, is irrelevant. Ish. But the wage bill is soaring. We need a manageable squad.
I fear some contracts may have to be paid up. Costing more money.

As for how many. I would say 10 of the 13. so most of them are dross. We need proven an tested quality players don't we.? . isn't this the way successful teams compete in any league they are in? What we see before us is a recipe for future disaster! The quantity approach! Most of this lot would be average league 1 players at best to bottom of championship. just my opinion is all I'm saying. I'm sat here amazed at some of what they Fosun have done with new management and coaching staff (positive) . But then let's rush out and buy another team of dross? Thelwell should have been at the top of the list for removal a start! 😂👎 Rant over. We are drowning in dross!

Weird one this Jas. depending on how much we signed Afobe for, at the most we would make 2 mil. Hardly seems worth it given our financial footing and further more make future transfers even harder. The man loves the club. Like him or not. (I do) but I’m sure he didn’t sign a contract from one premier league club to another to be sold to a championship club. It doesn’t add up.

In Nuno’s post match interview he does sayâ€Saiss has a problemâ€. He doesn’t say it’s an injury problem. Maybe it’s a problem deciding where his future lies if Wolves have accepted a bid for him. Be a shame to see him go but it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

I'm not in the know about anything that goes on at Wolves and don't confess to be but a good honest friend of mine who knows Dangerous said that he spoke to him and Dave Edwards said "Wolves are going up". He went into other details as to why we are but the point being is that he didn't say "We are going up". That's what stood out for me. Dave wants first team football, he wants to go to the World Cup (can't blame him for that) and he is wise enough to know that younger more gifted players have been brought in in his place. Good player. Top top bloke from what I hear and I for one applaud him and wish him luck. Great servant.
