Rated, supposed to be seen as one for the future by City.
Be good to see it linked to Nunes deal and we secure a loan.

Citing BBC Sport below (Nunes to City):

"Well, if that deal does end up going through, don't be surprised if Tommy Doyle makes the move in the opposite direction.

Wolves really like the City youngster, who spent last season on loan with Sheffield United and was part of the England Under-21 squad that won the European Championships in the summer."

There's no point in selling them Nunes and replacing him with a loan. What a great deal for City, here have one of our best players whilst we take yours and add value to them for you! It does make me laugh City say they don't want to let there u21 sqaud player go and we say we don't want to let our first team player go, yet we are the ones expected/more likely to fold! The Prem really is a stupidly unfair league! ?

So we're linked with 2 players, who've got virtually no prem experience in exchange for an experienced international.

If DeBruyne is out for a few months surely Mcatee and Doyle who are both midfielders should be able to step up and take the chance. At this stage City's season is about getting through a CL group, there first choice players could surely do that without DeBruyne. Being in touch with the leading pack in the EPL and progressing through early EFL cup rounds (a squad task).

IMO I don't know what is best for WWFC now.

What I think we'll see is Doyle arriving as part exchange and Mcatee as a season long loan with Nunes going for £50million.

Nunes is holding us to ransom because he's gone on strike. He signed a five-year contract for us. Unforgiveable conduct by any player. Enough to put Man City off him? Unfortunately the lesser of two evils is selling him now, rather than cutting off our nose to spite our face. Well, if he does show his face in Wolverhampton in the future, he won't like the reaction.

Would rather we try hijacking Fulham move for Iwobi. Stand out player for Everton last year. Revelation since moving into central midfield. Box to box with really good speed and bags of Prem experience. If Everton are willing to let him go we should be competing for his signature.

{Ed001's Note - my cousins, who are Everton fans, would happily drive him down for you, as they think he is a terrible player and still moan about him being given a new deal.}

@Deep Throat - Riyad Mahrez did the exact same thing, it didn't put Pep off.
