Hi eds,

Are you aware of the plans ahead for Fabio Silva and Goncalo Guedes? Do you think they're both looking for moves away?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - Goncalo Guedes (F) Injured again and it will not be easy to sell this summer. Maybe a permanent move to Benfica in January.

Fabio Silva (S) I suspect he will want assurances and pre-season might advise any decision. Lazio have declared an interest - and probably others too.}

Not sure who has gone, and perhaps more interestingly, who hasn’t gone, on this latest warm weather training trip to Portugal. Usually get daily updates with pictures. Nothing this time around, no pics of players boarding the plane and no training ground videos. Very quite on the Wanderer’s front!
One would have thought we would have wanted new players to have the opportunity to meet colleagues over those key away days, where opportunities to build relationships on and off the pitch should be a priority.

Fabio Silva isn't going anywhere he has 3 years left on his current deal. He has been on loan got experience and scored goals.
The attack is actually stronger than the attack at most of last season now.
We have Silva, Cunha, Neto and Hwang.
If we sign Alex Scott he will be played like Grealish further forward.
I'd recommend we go for another forward to change games like Xavi Simons as he has played with Silva last season. But he has now gone to Leipzig.
It's gone quiet on Ramos from Benfica interestingly. An absolute wild one but maybe that was the plan selling the players and reducing the wage bill?
Ocampos from seville would be a good shout aswell as a winger. More creativity, pace and balance in the squad then.
A cb like Elvedi and lb like Cresswell.
Would be a cracking summer as w ehave reduced our wage bill and balanced the squad.
I would go for Bono as GK if it could be done. As I don't Sa anymore.

Ramos, Madman? Why exactly would he leave Champions League latter stages contenders for a potential relegation fight? There'd be far more eligible suitors than us although it's galling to say so.

I’ve watched several of Silva’s games at both his loan clubs, and I’m still convinced he isn’t good enough to make the grade as a number 9 in the premier league. Well off the mark I’m afraid

Would you swap Guedes and Silva for Ramos?

Don’t know if Silva would go to the eagles being a Porto product.

For sure Mendes is the agent of all of them, that helps a lot.

Campos is not coming, JLo last year wanted to move him I wouldn’t count on him.

The gloom and doom maybe-and I say maybe-about to get worse. Lopetegui interview with Guillem Ballague is potentially incendiary.

QS - that was back in May surely?

No-today, in fact if you go onto the banter page Jas M explains in more detail.

Quite frankly and this is a personal view, and I guess fans like Phil would understand, we are in similar situation to the early 1980's and the Bhatti bothers. The fans are not being told the truth and the like of Shi have not run well enough

I understand you QS you correct.
You like myself are a wolves fan just like everyone else.

QS, I bet you're delighted now?

Ridiculous QS. A similar situation to the Bhatti brothers in the early 1980s?
Well, in the early 2020s we are now about to start our sixth season in the top flight, with a top European manager/coach in place. About as similar as chalk and cheese. Quite frankly, I guess your ‘persona view’ is relegation, again.

I will have to reply to QS "similar to the 80s" comment which I think, as a fan who started watching well before that, is not a very accurate summation at all. In the 80s we ended up very close to going out of business altogether, it is totally different. No, not the same at all.I think it's just impatience that makes people write all this stuff.

Just want to make clear I understand where QS is coming from and correct that he knows.
Our outlooks are different I'm more positive QS is more negative.
There used to be disagreements on this site 3 years and so back one of them was QS and myself and we sorted out then to accept one anothers difference of opinion mainly me as I the one who was angry and upset on here.

I was too young to remember details and how it was start of and mid 80's.

Another poster suggested "Fosun in trouble" Read their financial statement. They deal in billions, wide range of companies, suspect we are just a drop in their ocean. Would appreciate a statement of confidence though as we could be looking at yet another "not backed the manager" scenario.
