This is from Perct Telegraph.
- Rejected 20m for Collins from Brentford
- Coady back into first team
- Giles given a chance
- Signings within the 8-15m range
- Julen spent the last 3 weeks reflecting on his future and kept regular contact with Hobbs
- Podence, Sa and Ait-Nouri are free to go

Looks like sales to fund future buys. A pivotal piece I took from Liam Keen's article was "Wolves are largely focusing on the £8million-£15million range, where the majority of their successful signings have been secured."

Looks like Jorge Mendes is out of the picture.

I'd also imagine Guedes will be sold.

Talks are ongoing with regards to Guedes staying on loan with Benefica, Benefica want him on loan again but Wolves want a clause in place where they will have to purchase him.

Best for both parties if he moves on.

Guedes never wanted to come here. Cutrone never wanted to come here. Trincao never wanted to come here. Fati doesn't want to come here. All have been pushed here by Mendes.

Happy that Podence is allowed to go. Ait Nouri is the new Ruben Vinagre, all trickery, no end product. Sa should stay but if an upgrade is available, let him go.

Looks like Chiquinho, Kalajzadic and Giles will have a part to play and we should not expect a large influx of incoming players.

Well something needs to change, surely we can't fumble our way through another season like we did last time.

Our home form under JL was excellent. He needs to change the players mindset for the away games.

Who's going to buy him Debbie when we paid well over the odds and his wages are bound to be well over the odds too? We'd have to take a big hit on what was paid to get rid.

Jas, Leeds, Bournemouth surely weren't excellent.

But Liverpool, Chelsea, Brentford and Spurs were.

Spurs I would say we probably got away with.

Anyone heard anything about Adama Traore?

{Ed002's Note - Adama Traore (W) Atletico, Sevilla and Real Betis keen on him as a Free Agent. Al-Ittihad will offer more money but he could still have a couple of years playing in Europe rather than disappear to the Middle East.}

I think wev hot too many NO end product players.oersonally i'd keep ran.let the others go.and as for kalajzdic!panic buy at best.move him on aswell.go all out for viktor from coventry.loan them silva or kalajzdic for a season.see how they do with championship football. as part of the deal.with the last5game run in wev got need to be safe EARLY this time around.any cash from neves should be used to buy wardprouse.dont actually see neves going tho.and why he'd want2goto Barcelona when xavi publically states he doesn't want him is beyond me

Thanks Ed002.
I’d be happy to keep him and use him, with others, to improve a much needed feed to striker (s). They definitely need to practice that more often! ?

Man united were looking at Sasa so not quite a panic buy.

Gueddes has had two major injuries we will be lucky to get our money back on him, Sasa ability still questionable, a panic buy, Neto a lot slower now after his injuries surprised we haven't looked at any of the relegated players instead of going overseas for players without premiership experience

Too much of our money spent on buys that benefitted Uncle Jorge's back pocket more than our team- Guedes being the biggest. Hopefully we've learned our lesson there.

I've seen enough of Sasa playing domestic and international football to believe there's a player there and one that would benefit the team- as ever tho the question mark is how he comes back from a big injury. We still need another option there- a focal point for the attack.

And there seems to be a decent amount of free agents coming available- well worth looking at

Y'all have to remember - this is 2023, not 1973.
Knee injuries are treated differently. Surgery is much more advanced. Rehabilitation is much more advanced.
