It’s what we deserve for forcing Nuno out.
The work he did was unbelievable. One mediocre season and a big portion of the fan base turned on him. “ high expectations are the mark, for superior people.”
Nunos downfall was the expectation the fans placed on him for doing such a good job.
AND NOW we expect absolutely f*ckall.
If we got promoted . Survived by the skin of our teeth then got sort of 15th then 13th wouldn’t of been his down fall. Whatever you do at wolves don’t get top 7 twice in a row the second it drops abit they’ll have you out .

What a sorry mess they have made of our club. Now just a laughing stock, Steve Bruce is out of work, but I doubt if even be would be interested. Surely Fosun can see what a mess this lot are making. Rot set in with Lage appointment, with his promise fast attacking football.

He only gave us slow, ponderous play with no end result. Who will pick up this poisoned chalice that's the problem. Nuno helped build a team to be proud of and this lot have demolished it. Good while it lasted though.

Why did so many on here turn against Nuno? I said at the time be careful what you wish for.

Two 7th place finishes and QF of Europa League. Still not good enough for many on here.

We were flying in 5th place when Raul was injured and without a striker, not Nuno's fault, our season petered out.

Would not be in this mess with Nuno still in charge. FACT.

Hang on a minute,you lot. Unless Michael Beale is talking out of his rear end, he hasn't rejected us. He hasn't even spoken to us. He's just shown some loyalty to the club that gave him his big chance. Isn't that a quality to admire?

And what exactly are wolves fans hoping for . Whose wishing we where smashing league one to bits. With outstanding football. Rated come on he got manager of the month. Kane obviously wanted out and the others stopped performing. If NUNO wasn’t good enough or he didn’t do a good enough job then god help the fans who think that. Best years of my life time as a wolves fan. Seems some on here expect champions league football year in year out. With guardiola expansive football.

The problem was Nuno's lack of offensive play following the resumption of the season during Covid-19. We won four on the bounce if I remember rightly and we were looking at Champions league at one point. For some reason, then, we got found out and the constant sitting back and sitting back had served its purpose and the luck ran out. That tactic was carried on by Lage and as was apparent against Forest is still being adhered to by Davis. It's suicide football. Juxtapose that with the departures of Thelwell and Dalrymple and lack of support to Nuno at the beginning of his last season, all add wood to the bonfire. I have known these two steps forward, ten steps back approach by this club since I started supporting them in 1968. Strangely, and I expect most on here to disagree, but I have a theory that the beginning of the end can actually be traced back to losing the FA Cup semi final after being two up. The failure of the tactics and once again not getting over the line set the wheels of regression in motion.

Doghead Nuno was to loyal to his favourites in his last season with us and ultimately they cost him his job, I love the bloke to bits but he is the past now people need to move on from him.
Ofcourse if he were to return i'd get behind him 100%.
