Linked with this Andrea Petagna from Atlanta. never heard of him and his goalscoring record looks crap. 9 in 60 odd starts for them.

Surely we are looking at better starting to get worried letting Afobe go was a mistake.

According to the E&S this afternoon Wolves are not interested in Petagna nor Favelli nor Alfie Mawson.

Seems like, as ever, its all been paper talk, speculation or agents talking-up their clients.

Am sure when we have a signing to make it will be announced through the official channels and until then we can all only guess and dream.

Sky sports saying Mendes has met juve to discuss a move for favelli.

Sly Sports not saying Mendes has met with Juve about a move for Favelli to Wolves though.

I think the E&S have been told by Wolves that there is no truth in it.

Well if it's all paper talk then what do you think the express and star is.

demon - I think the the E &S, unlike all the others, is a paper with very close links to the club and as such is not the same as all these online rumour sites like HITC, Sports Witness, Transfer Tavern etc that you find on News Now.

Hope that clarifies things for you?

Any other questions don’t be afraid to ask.

DAS, the E&S is a cut above the sites you mention, and also being a respected local newspaper, carries more influence. That said, they have been massively behind the curve at times as they prefer to wait and see unless they have direct knowledge. Consequentially they can miss big stories. The takeover two years ago was a case in point, and Wolves rumours doesn't come any bigger than that.

DAS I have actually read it with my own eyes so how can you say that, I've just checked again and yes it does say Mendes has been to juve to discuss a move, why would I make something up that could easily be traced.
