Leeds won't let wood go without signing a replacement. They've had bids for Sam Winnall turned down. Wood injured and doubtful for fa cup game. Deal in balance, may now move to 2 nd option.

Campbell from place on loan to end of season.

Somehow I think Campbell is a pawn in any deal Leeds owner saying he will not be signing for them and it seems Wood would not be allowed to leave until a replacement found, they had a bid for ex wolf Winnal knocked back, and appear to be shopping in the same bargain buys as us. Personally I would prefer Campbell to Wood but like the look of Hubs Jason Cummings.

I guess this the problem when you are looking for experienced forwards that are available at the right price. You end up considering journeymen that have been there and done it before, they are now more concerned with picking up a paycheck than busting a gut for the fans manager or team. Its been a long time since either Wood or Campbell had a rich vein of form and it happened once or twice in a range of situations. Millwall for Wood and Hull for Campbell. My choice would be Cummings with a second choice of Johnson Clarke-Harris. I think we could mould him into a bit of an Assombalonga.
