Wolves have rejected a third offer from Notts Forest for MGW for 35 million waiting to see if they come back with a new improved offer.

If it’s that much I would take it and use for nunes. Unless they came back with 40m. Anything over 20m seems ridiculous and I would take that for him as he hasn’t really proved himself since
Being here.

That's a good offer.

We should bite their hands off

05 Aug 2022 19:00:17
If it's real. Apart from the clubs, no-one really knows how much bids are or what strings are attached.Makes me smile.

Yes it's a good offer, but surely you need to have replacements signed,we cannot sell players or loan them out without players coming in just look at the Fabio fiasco, are some people not seeing the potential nightmare situation we could be in.I also think Neves staying isn't nailed on, and I think someone will come in at the death with a cheeky offer for Traore, we need to increase the numbers.

From the E&S
"Bruno Lage has slapped a £50million price tag on forward Morgan Gibbs-White after Wolves rejected a third bid worth up to £35million from Nottingham Forest"

06 Aug 2022 07:59:11
Debbie, if Wolves think he is worth £50m, suggests to me they are no where near signing a much-needed premiership standard midfielder.

The bid is likely to amount to £35 million after performance related add ons. If it was a straight cash payment, then I am sure we would accept. The facts remain unchanged: he is not willing to sign a new contract and so, from this point his value is only going in one direction. Why we don’t do as others have done and trip out normal platitudes, of not really wanting him to leave but accept that everyone has a price, which we should publicly set at £30/£35 million. If Forest really want him, they then know what it will cost and everyone will be aware of what is happening.
Brighton adopt the practice of setting out publicly the fee they will accept and don’t deviate. If the fee is met, the player is sold and fans are kept in the loop.

Wolfthistle the deal is / was £25m with *potential* add-ons of £10m

Sell him quick

Bruno sees something in MGW, I'm gona go and say he will be a big player for us this season in the link between Midfield and Forwards

06 Aug 2022 12:14:06
@Sydneywolf I agree with your point, at the beginning of this transfer window I wasn’t fussed if MGW stayed or went. But now I have a feeling he’ll succeed.

06 Aug 2022 12:23:40
I'm guessing Bruno's a better judge of a player than any of us so I'm happy with whatever he thinks tbh.
