Not a dig at you stneotswolf, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

Rumours are exactly ‘what it says on the tin’, rumours. But following up the Sesko one, I see a player who really looks the business. All types of finishes: right foot, left foot and headers. Also has a real eye for an assist, when others are better placed than himself. As rumours go, it’s a good one. Whether or not there is any substance to it, only time will tell. Only young and a real prospect. Apparently, Newcastle also interested and they have greater pulling power than us. Jimenez injury would give him a first team start with us, whereas he would have to wait for a Callum Wilson injury, to get a run out at Newcastle!

Being linked with this Sesko and Posch is interesting more talents for the future but would definitely improve our squad.
Seems like they are still after Nunes and Ramos aswell. Saw that Silva from Benfica played well against Newcastle aswell.
All I can say is it is good to be linked with these top talents and to see the club trying different players from around the world gone are the days we would be signing players from 2nd rate French teams under Morgan and Moxey albeit Saka was good for us.

@The Tinkerman ????

Not sure that Newcastle have more pulling power than us, Wolfthistle. Players turn them down as well.

30 Jul 2022 10:48:58
Financially they have a lot of pulling power, they also have a large fan base in the North East. We need a Director of football, Shi takes these jobs on himself and his knowledge of the game seems very limited. We ha e half a dozen centre backs and one striker, Even lower league clubs know that doesn't make sense.

Y don't we move for belotti.free agent from torino.great goalscsorer.but we wont.coz we won't bring any1 in.lage is really a yes man and out of his depth otherwise he's as gullible as a 5yr old being told he can hav some sweets but never gets them. and will be gone by xmas.nuno left because he asked for cash to rebuild and was told no.so he left.jiminez is finished hwang is useless and podence isa midget so no goals again this ssn.relegation a major possibility

30 Jul 2022 12:17:46
I think Belotti is overrated don't think the club fancy him being a success in the prem plus remember the clubs risk with Cutrone back fired very similar player.
I think Newcastle are struggling to sign players as Howe isn't a big name for some of the top players they are after. Plus similar to Wolves they will struggle to sell the city unlike Manchester and London clubs for example.As proven by Zinchencko snubbing us two years ago.
Also think wolves are struggling to sign players as Bruno is a big name in Portugal but not all over Europe.

Newcastle have miles more pull than us. Bruno Lage was a cheap option when appointed and has no pulling power in terms of attracting players-HOWEVER he is not being supported by this non transparent regime. The local journalists such as Keen, Judah, Taylor at WM should be digging deep to find out what is going on

30 Jul 2022 17:08:05
I’d give up that ghost SQ, the E&S are now the third arm of Wolves.

RB salzburg want £55m for Sesko though. Man U also have been linked with him.

30 Jul 2022 21:02:32
True but if you are Sesko can you see yourself playing ahead of Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho and Martial plus Greenwood can play now.

30 Jul 2022 21:23:41
No but equally I can't see us paying 55m for I believe a 19 year old after we paid 35m for Fabio.

30 Jul 2022 23:14:12
Also it's similar to Collins in the fact the kids going to want to play. He won't get the chance at Utd.
Wolves don't have a striker at the minute Raul if half the player he was before his injury.
If we paid money with add ons for goals scored our finish position etc I don't think the club would worry about the price tag. The issue is these players want to go to the big clubs. I understand that might be who they saw growing up etc. However build something at Wolves play your football and be successful with our balanced squad with good team morale. Don't sprint beofr eyou can run.

31 Jul 2022 10:52:10
Madman, I agree and the kid looks as if he could be a good signing its the only way we can sell the club to up and coming players but from the selling clubs point of view would you rather have 55m up front or 35m (I've plucked that figure out as what we paid for Fabio) with a 10% sell on and bonusses that may not occur over a 5 year deal that may yield say 70m eventually? I'ld personally take the money.

31 Jul 2022 11:37:55
The selling club will want as much as they can get. Like us with Neves.
Have the Wolves sold a worthwhile package to Sesko? I hope so with mendes involved you would like to think that all that is sorted
What's interesting is that players are taking second glances at us such as Nunes and reportly the last few days Sanches.
Personally money isn't an issue in our deals the issue is selling the project, club and area to prospective players.

{Ed002's Note - Sesko will not be joining Wolves.}

Ed people said the same about Neves, Moutinho, Jiminez, Jota, Patricio, Semedo, Silva they all came off.
