Really pleased to see the recall of Giles and Sanderson, to me it hails a change of direction in keeping with the youthful signings made in recent years. The thing missing was giving the youngsters opportunity rather than spending millions on risky signings that fail to perform, an NES attribute. Well done Bruno give them a chance, but do sign Sanchez.

I’m thinking @Mikebayleaf that maybe by not spending big on certain positions, it free up money for a forward or AMF.

Cracking result last night against an all-star team. Their bench alone probably cost more that our whole squad.
Great news about Giles and Sanderson. If Lage can do to them what he's done with Kilman, the future is very, very bright. But, we still need 2/3 new signings. With Jimenez struggling, a striker is the most pressing need. Young Silva did well when he came on late, so I think Lage has him on the right track. I think Silva was feeling sorry for himself recently, but he looked a handful last night. We still need a new striker though. I can see Silva being groomed as a number 10.

I think you've hit the nail on the head Deep Silva is imo more of an inside forward or attacking midfielder than out and out number 9.
