Have to agree. He seemed very solid. I'm sure there is better out there we could get. I wouldn't be grumbling if we got him in. 5mil is a steal also.

I think his style would suit Lage’s pressing style. Get the tackles in and let the ball break forward to other quick, incisive players. I hope we’re not just holding out for the next expedient Mendes deal to come to fruition regardless of whether it suits our needs.

E from Wombourn it was more of a case of WHERE is he, why hasn't he been brought back into the squad, as opposed to exactly where is he, sorry.
He had a few good games topped by the Man City away shirt-swap with De Bruyne but nothing at all since.
He was spoken of as a future performer.

Right to the point Italia. A lot of young players with "potential" signed by NES or already at the Mol but they have largely failed to come through. That is the Manager's fault.

Agree Mike! Completely his fault.
Seemed he had little or no liking for young player development.
Think back to the final 10/ 12 games of last season, we had Cundle, Corbeanu etc on the bench in nearly all those games and yet only one got 7/ 8 minutes v Spurs!
I think that approach was probably the deciding factor for Shi and Fosun.
