Yes he has won the portugese league. But he has a lot less experience than Nuno in terms of European football.

Lage has flown in for the interview process. The club have already given a 2-3 week time frame. If they were just giving it to the first man they interviewed this would not be the case. Of course Lage may still get the job but his flying in was just the beginning of the search process rather than the end of it! Don't listen to bookies, if everyone on this forum bet on me to get the job guess what my odds would come in. Doesn't mean I'm getting the job or the bookies have any inside knowledge it just means some people will bet on any old nonsense! 🤣.
