Before the news of Nuno's exit was broken, I was thinking "Summer transfer window, going to be linked with every Portuguese player under the sun"
Now it appears we're being linked with every Portuguese manager under the sun.
Just as a thought Fosun will have done their due diligence on this matter and I'm sure whatever Manager we'll get will be a surprise. But the names being touted don't fill me with confidence. Hot favourite Bruno Lage has been out of a job the past 13 months, if he is that good why has he been unemployed for so long?

Everyone on here forgets one thing. Think back to before we had even heard of nuno. Wolves were nothing. Going no where. In came nuno and transformed the club. The new messiah, keys to the city. Everyone loved him. Now they even treated him like the messiah at the end. This will be the biggest mistake ever by wolves, sacking the best manager we ever had. Soon you will come to hear the chants of " fosun out". Dark days are coming back.

I agree in terms of being our best manager, but there were mistakes like insisting on having a small squad. I’ll be sad to see Nuno go, it’s the end of an unforgettable four seasons.
None of that is to say we can’t have that again with a new manager, my complaint is circulating around the names being mentioned. One thing in modern football is the “experienced manager” mould has been broken. There are plenty of younger managers getting a chance now - Espanyol took a chance on Mauricio Pochettino and look the job he’s done with them, Southampton and Spurs. Fulham took a punt on Parker and Gerrard at Rangers spring to mind. Now maybe Parker isn’t the best example given their recent relegation, but he got them out of the championship.
Whoever comes in to mange Wolves I’m sure they’ll get financial backing by Fosun and the support off of the fans.

Whatever has gone on we do not know, one thing is sure things had to change.
as much as I love Nuno, the time is right for Fosun to let him to go,

Nuno does seem to have lost the plot this season injuries apart there has been to some poor team selections our style of play has to change.
I think even jimenez would have struggled to score in this team.
The midfield problem was never addressed, when it was plain to see by us all.
The poor transfer window, the money was available and wasted.

Things not the same since Jota, Doherty.

Who we appoint we tell us whether Fosun are prepared to continue to go forward and back the team.

We miss Doc running up the right doing one twos with Adama or cutting it back for Neves or Moutinho

And obvs we miss Raul in the box dunno about Jota he wasn't always first choice but scored some good goals if he didn't think too much

Some players will go players we can let go like Willian Jose but maybe players we wish would stay too but as we see with Leicester there is life after the best players leave.

Lol could you imagine if they pulled a proper ace card out.

Who ever it is needs 200m to get us back on track.

I agree Demon. I saw a report recently blaming a lack of funds for new players ( except by selling some of our best) was the reason Nuno went. This story is backed up by the Chinese Government's recent directive to Chinese investors to reduce investment on football teams, especially European ones.
