According to the Sun "Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on bringing Club Brugge center-back Odilon Kossounou to the Premier League when the summer transfer window opens. "

Defense does need to be addressed, as well as the Lh B/ LWB situation - Marçal seems to be injury-plagued (known before he signed) and I cannot see Rayan Aït-Nouri being bought for 20m.

Another area that needs to be resolved is João Moutinho's long terms successor, at 34 he doesn't have long left in the game (sadly but that's footbaal)

Semi rant over.

Excuse my poor spelling : (.

Debbie - not a rant just a couple of valid points.
AM i. e. Moutinho replacement, is the most obvious need but RCB is also pretty important. After that Back up ( or replacement if Jimenez doesn't make it back) CF and LWB (as sadly Marcal doesn't seem to be robust enough to be counted) would be nice.

Sadly for roughly £20m a pop unless they show far more during the run in none of the 3 loaned in players have done anywhere near enough to justify such high fees. Maybe renegotiate to a more realistic level - with add ons - or perhaps extend loan to give them further chances?
With RAN it does depend on your view on Marcal and if we can shift Vinagre.
The price we sell Vinagre at should also be a good guide as to the value of these kids - surely we wouldn't pay much of a premium if any to swap Vinagre for RAN as they look similar.

Before thinking about buying any on-loan players at £20mil a pop, I would rather look at the home market and in particular the relegated PL teams for bargains.

agreed - see thread on Banter page for discussion on very topic.

Aït Nouri, who is only 19, seems to me to have held his own very well in EPL, and appears to be creative when he helps with the attack. I would think he will be certainly be kept at that price.

Dendoncker is the player normally in for Moutinho when he's not needed at CB

We also have Vitinha and MGW but I don't think they will be Wolves players next season.

Wolves were hideous tonight, it could have been and should of been much worse than 4-1. Talk about rolling over to have your tummy tickled, Nuno looked like a manager out of his depth with nothing but an empty head, no idea what so ever. I feel the end is close for Nuno, he has done as much as he can for Wolves and no longer looks a capable manager now results are becoming hard to achieve. Any manager looks good when the team is winning, where they earn their salt is when things are going wrong, for his first time as Wolves manager it is getting tough and when solutions are now needed he has come up well short.
