We expect any deadline day deals. Or are we done?

Agree0 Disagree0

05 Oct 2020 07:10:58
All done i'm afraid.

Need to think about looking at players in Championship. Watkins and Bowen are good examples of what can be unearthed. Teams who just miss out on promotion have players who very nearly were in the Premier League. Brentford are prime example and Benrahma.

05 Oct 2020 09:32:54
I think we could do with a big robust hard tackling midfielder or two, plus a centre half, at some point,

05 Oct 2020 09:36:30
I disagree Ecosse. The players wolves have brought in are important for the future in terms of Silva, Hoever, Vitinha and Rayan.

All the clubs that went far in ruope last season have struggled so far. We have lost to Man city and are disappointed which shows how far we have come. And West Ham away which should be a difficult game. Some clubs will benefit from not having fans in the ground such as Villa and West ham. Best to judge in 10 games time.

Most likely I think no new signings but you never know.

05 Oct 2020 13:32:10
Missed out on alleged target Oussama Idrissi, who has been confirmed as Sevilla signing. Shame as he looked the business. May well have a back up plan, as we had apparently put in a €16 million bid.
Can’t believe we’re not on lookout for a midfield enforcer, preferably a mobile one. ANM is the one I would like to see BUT maybe need to let that one go.

Clearly our Leader felt we needed to upgrade on the 3 regulars released. Think the replacements look the business, but I still worry about where the goals are going to come from?
OK, Silva maybe a great signing, but not sure he will contribute many goals this season.
Neaves is struggling for goals, Podence, Neto, maybe a few, but not
prolific by past records. Dendoncker, on or two etc etc.
A bit of a worry.
ps
What happened to Cutrone? . supposed being sold for circa £15m, not sure that happened, is he with the Squad?

05 Oct 2020 16:07:37
Cutrone was on a two year loan

Which I believe Fiorentina have passed on to another italian team. Might be Genoa! Highly doubt we are making money back on him next year.

Looking like a complete flop.

05 Oct 2020 17:55:57
Many thanks TT. thought we might have at least got our money back!

05 Oct 2020 18:19:07
You can see our problems like I said before lack of goals, and what's worrying is who in our team is going to get the goals, on the performances of late I don't now about scoring, but how many shots at goal do we have or create in the final third, sorry to be negative but cannot see we finishing top 6 playing like we have been, think we are in for a hard season, how many wingers have we got, midfield and a striker we definately need.

Rumours flying around Cheshire tonight, and we won't like them,
First scenario, if solksjar gets sacked, Nuno will take over,
Second scenario, solksjar gets sacked
Klopp takes over at utd, Nuno takes over at Liverpool, either comes true, Patricio, coady, Neves, traore, Jimenez expected to go at some point with him ☹️☹️☹️☹️.

05 Oct 2020 18:35:04
No we have not finished with transfers, there will be at least one more coming in.

05 Oct 2020 19:07:31
I take it as true the rumour you say but it int arf made me laugh the klopp one the best. 😂😂😂
How do they get away with such 2plus2 =5?

05 Oct 2020 21:24:02
Wolves fans like to now honestly with the millions we spent have we signed the right players, because I have not got a clue how good these players are, can someone tell me.

05 Oct 2020 23:55:07
Big-only time will answer that one I'm afraid. In the mean time it comes down to weather or not we trust the scouting network used to find them. As its the same scouting network that's got our squad to where we are today then (for me) they've earnt my trust. Simples 👍🐺.

06 Oct 2020 07:44:54
Where the at least another signing coming in? Demon.

BullysBoyll I am singing off the same hymn sheet as you.
I hope Coady starts Thursday if not I'd rather put my walking head torch on and weed my garden than watch the England match.

COC (come on Coady)

06 Oct 2020 12:37:33
BB11, what's the weather got to do with anything!

06 Oct 2020 12:45:18
Just a shame ; re Cutrone, there was a connect between player and fans from the off. Just think he was a kid a long way from home, good player!

06 Oct 2020 14:10:51
Preston- didn't realise this was an English exam but I shall remember to check for grammatical errors next time you post about how useless Boly is! Can you spell 'short memory' for me please?! Sorry I couldn't resist! 🤣.

06 Oct 2020 16:16:31
BB11 : sorry, couldn't resist! As for Boly, was great in div
2, without breaking sweat! That is obviously his level. Kilman to start, with the Coady and Saiss. FWAW.

06 Oct 2020 17:39:29
He was pretty solid right up until he got shifted from his stronger side to his weaker side. Think it says a lot that out of the two of them Nuno still thinks Bolys more capable of adapting. I actually agree with you on Kilman, think he looks like a great prospect. Personally I'd drop Saiss for him, like Saiss enough but he always looks like he's about to give a pen away or get sent off! The problem we have is that Saiss, Boly, Kilman and now Marcal all prefer playing on the left side of the back three. Someone's always going to have to play were they aren't comfortable, not sure it's Bolys fault that Nuno thinks he's the best choice to adapt to it.

06 Oct 2020 19:42:57
BB II Maybe we should have sold one of them - Saiss given age and his current strong form (surely only way to go now and that is down! ) and bought a RCB?
Hoover actually looks promising - the best so far of the new boys although none have had much of a chance yet - and he in time could be the answer at RCB but today?

07 Oct 2020 00:13:17
Thefurtue-maybe but then, I thought we'd struggle when Nuno switched Coady to the back line and look how wrong I was there. I think Boly is actually right footed but he prefers to play more on the inside. I suspect Nuno thinks with time he'll make that side his own, but even I have to admit that his games taken a hit since being moved. Still Nuno knows best so I guess we'll just have to wait and see how Bolys game develops there. I agree with you though on Hoever, looks very solid from the cameos and he's played there before. Think him and Semedo have both moved for game time so I think by the end of the season we will have seen him play RCB (like ya say) . In Nuno we trust 👍.

07 Oct 2020 09:31:45
Great transfer window, some real class brought in, doc, Jota, Vin all go with my best wishes for the future.

I believe what has come in will prove to be upgrades on what has gone out, usual classy business done by the club can't wait for Nuno to get to grips and gel them in, not expecting overnight success definitely new tactics style of play, this will take time as we have seen a lot of work to be done.

Cant wait until it starts to click. Patience is a virtue and as a long in the tooth Wolves fan I have that in abundance, 40yrs at the mol does that to a man lol.

07 Oct 2020 09:32:06
Could be a nice problem - too many quality players at the back!
Wonder why we didn't get an experienced CM in as well as Vitor though - think that is the area, despite a good performance from Dendoner v Fulham, that now looks the weakest.
As you say though Nuno more than deserves our trust!
