Having lived in Barcelona a couple of years ago and seen this guy play live, I can’t believe we have attracted and then signed a player of this quality. I was gutted when Doherty left but this is such a massive upgrade it’s so hard to comprehend. He needs time to settle of course but I believe we have one of the best wing backs in the world. All my friends who are Barcelona fans are gob smacked they have sold him and also sold him for this price. Happy days.

Our squad is nearing completion giving Nuno more options with formation and player selection.

I totally agree Phil, maybe one more incoming at most I guess. I believe under Nuno in a year from now he will be the best signing we have made and best full back around.
