To those that are not aware the fee for Jota is quoted as 41m rising to 45m . However. we have actually only banked less than 4.5 million from the deal. The rest is due later. Just wondering if uncle Jorge has had to wait for his fee! We have had to find 9.5 m on a 10m deal for hoever. Now I ain't no accountant but we can't operate forever selling your players with monthly payments received and then chick millions at unproven players that will end up in u23s . Let's hope we get a RB / rwb in before next Sunday's game v West ham.

I don't worry about things like that wozza. To me our club isn't daft and every deal coming in or going out is for the better of our club.
Some fans think different and have doubts about the business and running of our club I don't I trust in fosun and nuno always have from day one of nuno.

Surely the kids brought in are to support our squad though? I can't see Silva, Vitinha and Hoever playing 20 games each this season.
Vitinha has the best chance of playing 20 games due to his age.
We still need 3 players to progress from last season.
Rwb, Attacking midfielder and another either a cb or forward.
Just think that's the way we are going with new possession based style.

No it looks like players are now brought in on the cheap, improve them, then sell them on at big profit. 3 to 4 years max you will see these players wear the wolves top. Proves we ain't nowhere being a big club.

That was my initial point . We pay 35 for a player that's going to come off the bench or play here and there. In 3 years we will be top foir. in the meantime please don't dismantle the squad!

Demon my thoughts we have a ready made replacement for jota in neto.
Yes in 2 or 3 years we could sell neto for big profit.
But I think we are going about our project to break in the top 6/ top 4 in a really good way. The ex pros pundits media all highly praise what's happening at our club seeing the same as I see this can be no coincidence.
Do people think their views would of been different if we had beat Stoke convincingly?
One week we win well all is good, one week we play bad and lose all is not good and full of criticism.
The season is long and will be ups and downs.
Maybe when transfer window is shut and the players get back in the swing of full match fitness we will have more to see of how we think our season will go.

We was never going to beat sole when you consider the facts. Jota turned up had a chat with the boys and said" f**l this lads I'm off to the pool tomorrow" and their heads dropped and didn't play well at all. Then he shoves 'Teflon' Ruddy in goal!

When new signings come in hopefully that will lift the team spirit and get losing jota out of their systems.
Surprised me ruddy with Stoke goal I have to agree Teflon gloves for that goal. Usually I have always rated ruddy as a class stand in for Patricio.

I find it hard to understand the level of negativity from some posters here.
The signings Wolves have made look absolute quality, a mixture of experience, mostly young.
More quality on the way if a fraction of the rumours are right.
Doc and Jota out both for a profit.
Both I rated, but if was looking for areas to improve Doc is one, and Jota to inconsistent being the other.
I fancy Liverpool to get the best out of Jota but I don't think that will be overnight.
I trust Nuno's judgment and trust he is backed by Fosun.
Reference Mendes, what a great resourse to have at our disposal.
