Can Bruno Jordao or Morgan Gibbs White step up this season and provide genuine midfield competition / support for our over-worked established midfielders?

Agree0 Disagree0

Is MGW now in Nuno's plans? he missed a lot of the season via back injury but he didn't do himself any favours going to a party in that London during the Lockdown. NES doesn't seem to tolerate insubordination.

Jordao, yes. MGW no chance i'm afraid. He needs to go out on loan or prefferably sold if we can get a decent price.

Jordao just got unlucky with a major injury but from what I saw of him he certainly can step up.

MGW way off the mark for me. doesn't get a sniff at this team. Positionally fact he hasn't nailed something down is worrying yet. Plus all his antics and social media point to be someone who gives it large and has done nothing to earn it.

Needs a very good loan spell somewhere.

Jordeo a yes.
MGW is still very young and had his back injury. Made stupid mistakes but Nuno has stuck with him. If he can get back to the level before his back injury I think he's still worth a place in the match day squad.
MGW needs to kick on or most likely he will be left behind loaned out or sold. A massive season for him I think.

Hopefully Shebani will be in the picture.

Add to the mix Meritan Shabani and I think MGW's days at Wolves are all but done.

I agree a loan spell might be useful for MGW, not too far down the food chain though to damage his confidence.
Maybe a term with a progressive European outfit to give him some game time and help forge his own identity.
He might come back a new player.

MGW is on a yellow card in Nuno's eyes but is still in with a chance in my eyes. I'd be inclined to loan him to a newly promoted PL team (if anyone will have him) in the hope he can make it in the PL. Failing that I'd loan him to a good championship team like Brentford. Brentford will lose some of their best players, so MGW might slot in nicely.

Can't understand the MGW saga. He was a England player who was lorded as been a player for the future, now he can't even get on the pitch with Wolves.
I wonder if it's more down to the training he's been given to do?
More Wolves fault in his lack of game time rather than his? We've had some very good players bought in which have never got on the pitch.
Why when we have such a small squad that was obviously knackered in their last game?
Since Bennett and Cav were sold I have questioned Nuno's judgement. Does he judge players too quickly?

Goggs, MGW is a bit of a mystery to me as well. Many young players look brilliant in the youth teams but can't make the final step up. Also it sometimes takes Nuno time to assimilate a player; remember Dendoncker being on the sidelines initially? MGW needs to go on loan for a while.

He has enough confidence driving Mercs and wearing 1000 pound trainers on his instagram.

It's the problem with modern footballers they get given everything without ever earning anything. Problem with some young English players. European lads seem to have their heads down a lot more

I just really don't think he fits this team. Better off somewhere like Norwich he can showcase his talent.

Essentially MGW has in reality had one outstanding game which was against Chelsea at Molineux last season. The MOTD pundits drooled over his performance and to be blunt he has done nothing since.

18 Aug 2020 20:21:20
Couldn't agree more SQ.

18 Aug 2020 20:47:08
MGW is not developing because he has not play much football. He needs a loan to a good Championship team that will play him every week. He is still very young.

18 Aug 2020 22:23:45
MGW not up to the standard we need. I hope we improve the quality of our squad so no matter who Nuno picks they are has good as each other and then we can challenge the top six.

Anybody else year the rumour that MGW was involved in the Holy injury and this has contributed to his lack of game time. At the moment he looks like just another in the production line that included Kyle Bennett, Mark Davies, and Zele Ishmail.
