So rumours of Leander Dendoncker are growing. Personally I think it would be a mistake to let him go. Very versatile player. He's had a dip in form prior to the enforced break but like Romain Saiss, can be utilised in either defence or midfield.

My father in law hates him too! Think it's something about the way he runs haha. We have the same disagreement each time. He is the perfect utility player. Slots seamlessly into DM and CB that's rare. He is too important!

I know where you're coming from PT. You're entitled to your opinion. I remember when MM signed Gary Breen, I thought he weren't good enough but then MM wrote in the match day program how although he weren't the best, it was what we needed at the time as he could organise the defence. Same with Karl Henry. Not the best player we ever had but was brought in for a specific reason which he did well.

I agree with Paul, I do think he lacks pace. Decent enough player but so was Dave Edwards. This position is one we can definitely improve on.

I think your wrong about Donk, he is very underrated and is an asset to the squad, Traore was cast aside by a few on here last season, now look at him, it's easy to have a scapegoat, personally I don't see anyone in current squad who deserves any stick apart from maybe MGW for being silly in lockdown.

Debbie I also remember the pen he gave away against Watford in the semi, and Sydneywolf I’m not lookin for a scapegoat as we’re 6th in the league not bottom! Just understand to me he isn’t a miss if he was injured, not like Doc, Neves, Jiminez, Boly, Coady Traore Neto Patricio Jonny Jota Moutino and the way he’s been Saiss. IMO he doesn’t get near a startin place, and remember in the summer we will add better to the squad, so if he’s interested in playin he’ll find a new team. Perhaps Italian football will be ideal for him as the style suits his tortoise game.

Im on the fence on dendoncker love him/ hate him. There's some say flog him to lazio and some say don't sell him.
I believe in the coming years we will all be blown away by being King's of England Europe and the world.

Dendonker is always going to divide opinion. He is one of those players that managers love as they provide lots of options when injuries occur but does not appear to do much except pop up for the odd goal (hero) or give away a pen (villain) . Depending on your age Martin Peters, Gareth Barry or Fabian Delph come to mind. Ideally you want someone who is defensively sound can create stuff and can run eg Bryan Robson or Gerrard. Unfortunately they don't come along that often so managers settle for in between. If we get a Robson or Gerrard I would be happy but probably not going to happen.

Paul Tamworth I remember his goal against Fulham that got us into the Europa League. We just have different opinions I guess? no big deal really. But the fact Bennett went to Leicester suggests LD will be a Wolves player for awhile longer.

Donk offers something we needed but maybe if we improve the team he is someone who can fetch a price probably more than Said and with Bennett out of contention we need a good CM/ DCM in before we sell.
