As predicted, Wolves have returned with an improved offer for Daniel Podence. Talks with Olympiacos are going well and a deal is likely #WWFC

From a well known Greek Journo about an hour ago.

Most reports seem to be along the lines of wolves very optimistic Podence getting done soon.

Nothing concrete on the striker front. Let's not panic aye.

Plz not Benteke.

Never thought I'd say this. But we need a body! ease the pressure on Raul. It's a needs must situation. Surely we can snag a half way decent loan striker from somewhere?

Seems like it was a trust issue with Cutrone. can't see us dropping that lucky on a striker this window with someone he truly trusts to fill the Raul slot.

Only one thing is certain. Who ever it is. don't expect much game time. if I'm honest it's a tough sell.

Deals take time, especially if the selling club is Greek. Greeks don't always come bearing gifts! They negotiate harder than the Spurs chairman.

Wolves are supposed to have a mystery back-up striker in the pipeline if Podence falls through. I wonder if this is just a bluff to pile pressure on the Greeks?

Villa were running around signing players last summer like headless chickens. £100 mil plus spent and they are now in big trouble, relegation-wise and financially. Wolves on the other hand spent incredibly shrewdly, and will continue to do so. In Nuno I trust.

I've just heard where a Baggie fans's concrete source is. His local builder's merchant.

Daniel sturridge is the unnamed target 💯 I new Daniel at young age and Dean ex wolves striker who has told Daniel to sign n prove he still got it 4 mill deadline day u heard it from me 1st mock me make jokes this will happen.

16.9 Mill.

Sturridge would be no good here, given Wolves former head of the Med. dept. has joined L. A Galaxy. Unless DS real role is for medical students to inspect how reoccurring injuries are treated?

We would need more than Super Phil to keep him fit Debs - maybe we're going to sign him because we're recruiting that well known Portugese medic Jesus Christ to work on him, one touch and he can run for miles!
