Realise it dangerous but been thinking, if Jeff was employed by any other organisation he would have been sacked by now. Can only be that Fosun are happy with what he is doing, which tells the whole story really.
I have no idea of the current financial situation but have to assume that Jeff is carrying out what is wanted by the Fosun group.
I do really hope that Rob can achieve success, however, there is a real chance we will achieve the lowest total of points ever in the PL.
If this does become a reality, what happens then, does Jeff sack Rob?

As I say, I really hope we can turn it around, however, if we persist with the same team selection nothing will change, will Rob learn quickly and drop Hwang and Munetsi?
As is painfully obvious we have no creativity in the side so change is desperately needed, rant for today over, I think.

I fear that the answer to the two points made in your first three paragraphs is : "yes!".

27 Nov 2025 12:22:51
So do I think the same as tfig. But of course I wish RE every success in the championship, and to that end I hope he can Foster a new 'pack' unity and desire in the squad.
His choices will be shackled by fosuns approach I'm sure but with good team replacement who knows.

By the way, did you see Doyles mom performance at the tesco bags last night? The spirit we could do with.

27 Nov 2025 13:35:53
I'm hoping that Edwards decides to terminate Doyles loan on 1st January 2026 so that he can brought back and add options.

27 Nov 2025 15:03:13
Thought at the time we were daft to let Doyle and Traore go, happy to get them both back, if we can 🤞

27 Nov 2025 15:55:56
Can’t do it goodwhileitlasted
No recall option, got our new head of football/technical director whatever you want to call him to thank for that.

27 Nov 2025 21:15:43
The new Technical Director is just in his role, what did he have to do with Doyle's Loan deal De Wolf? be good to get an explanation, as you seem to have all the inside info on what's going on in our club

27 Nov 2025 23:44:20
He was loans and player marketing director
So as Doyle went out on loan during his tenure in that position I would say it’s everything to do with him, I know from your posts you don’t like anyone knocking Teflon Jeff of fosun but maybe it’s time you opened your eyes to what’s going on
And as it happens my old fruit I do know someone that works in a fairly senior position at the club who give me little snippets now and then

28 Nov 2025 08:54:01
I think we can recall any player who is out on loan. We just need to pay a termination fee if there is no option to recall in the agreement.

28 Nov 2025 13:08:42
De Wolf, I'm like any fan on here, Jeff and Fosun are not on Christmas card list, so where you get me not liking anyone knocking them is beyond me, you may find I like to be on the positive side when possible in regards or when we need to stick together, and that's right now, all asked was a simple question on where you get your information from, as your quick at pointing fingers in the direction of issues in the club.

As you can see we have a lot of new posters constantly on here spouting all sorts of rumours, this site has gone downhill and a lot of long time posters have left due to the constant head wreck of some, so forgive me if I questioned your post.

27 Nov 2025 09:05:51
Anybody think Harvey Elliot from Liverpool in Jan if Villa terminate his loan. English knows PL 25mill with obligation to buy if avoiding relegation can't be any worse than what Wolves have.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Nov 2025 11:04:19
Harvey Elliott cannot play for anyone other than Liverpool or Villa this season. So he either stays in Villa reserves or goes back to Liverpool. You can’t play for more than two teams in a season.

27 Nov 2025 12:24:02
Tommo1970 I forgot he played for Liverpool before going to Villa my mistake.

Agree de Wolf mate, they've started blocking fans now too.

27 Nov 2025 04:51:17
Adding to what is stated above, this appears on Fosun's website:
en.fosun.com

Our Attitude
We have zero tolerance for actions that are damaging to the Company’s reputation and interests.

Should tell you all you need to know and that answers the letter sent some weeks ago from the various supporter's groups!

27 Nov 2025 07:05:14
If you really have zero tolerance why is Shi still in charge?

27 Nov 2025 09:50:58
Banners at the ground protesting Fosun's ownership and Shi out. The media love showing these protests and games are televised to a worldwide audience. Anything that can be done to show how Wolves supporters feel about Fosun's ownership to try and force them out of our club.

Wolves is fast becoming a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. The quote from Hamlet: 'something rotten in the state of Denmark' could easily refer to Wolverhampton as a football club.

There is genuine concern on social media that Fosun ntend to let Wolves go into administration, they only care about the esports and the football club does not matter to them and administration will be a easy way out for them.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Nov 2025 15:54:48
That would be my bet Rated.

25 Nov 2025 15:55:46
It would make sense, they took out a 100 million pound loan at the beginning of the season, using club assets as collateral, now when we go down (not if) if we go into administration any monies owed would only be pennies on the pound, take the parachute payments sell of all they can and cut and run.

Sounds far fetched but would anyone of believed a wolves shirt ( albeit esports) with the words West Bromwich on it?
Academy is about to lose its elite status, grounds an absolute disgrace. It all points to asset stripping as much as they can

25 Nov 2025 17:48:00
Even though Fosun have lost interest, I can't see how administration makes sense, it's only for financial basket cases. It destroys shareholder value.

25 Nov 2025 18:47:27
Fosun won't care they only want the brand for the esports side of things, it's sus how the Wolves esports is blocking fans who are voicing concern.

25 Nov 2025 19:04:34
IF Fosun did take the club into administration, then 12 points will immediately be deducted and if relegation is also involved, which is almost certain barring miracles, the points deduction could be delayed until the following season meaning Wolves, if under new ownership, would start the season on -12 points.

25 Nov 2025 19:18:22
OAP, turkeys don't vote for Christmas. There will be no administration unless the club is going bust, and it's not. If we go down, we will sell players and rebuild and there will be parachute payments.

25 Nov 2025 21:39:49
Your argument falls down when you mention the word rebuild deep throat 😂 we will have a 100 million pound loan to pay back, that’s the parachute payments gone straight away on that

26 Nov 2025 02:25:38
Hello,
I haven't been a regular poster on here for a while but I have supported Wolves since 1967, I always will. Thank you for letting me post on here but in all honesty, at 70 years of age, my health is not what it was and I find the situation with our club depressing and reflected in the tone and posts of fellow fans on this and other forums. I don't like the way football has gone with TV, players renumeration, tinkering with the laws and applications in the game, and find that the whole game has been ruined by money. I can always remember the first few games I attended with my uncle, walking from Wednesfield through Heath Town to the Mil. Then with my late wife, we had season tickets for around 30 years, all during that time, the ups and downs, we were there, home and away, week in, week out. Some great players, too numerous to mention. My interest began to wane a little when she passed five years ago and now, I just listen on the wolves app.

Tommo and Lee Naylor can be really knowledgeable, but even listening when they get negative can be stressful. I have been reading posts with interest but now that anyone with a keyboard can call themselves a 'journalist' and trot out absolute rubbish, even that is depressing. I miss the Sporting Star and getting to Queen Street to buy it fresh from the E and S office on the way back. There's a lot I miss about recent good times under Nuno, I get a lot of joy watching old reruns, Wembley, Cardiff playoff v Sheffield united and some wonderful games over the years. Now, I just find the whole football thing is frustrating and depressing. I love the Wolves always, but there's more to life, I will still listen in, but the last few years have, in addition to grief and loss, not been good.
I wish you all well.
Malcolm

26 Nov 2025 07:15:02
Malcwolf I totally get your view and can empathise with you. May I also offer my condolences for your loss.
Being of the same age group I know the excitement and anticipation match day would give and bring, more honest and good humoured play than today's sponsor, tv, scheduling dictated events.
I too remember the star after the game, sometimes waiting for my brother to pull in, or some times hop off and back on the train to get one so we could see other scores of the day, only half times as I recall.
So I fully agree that money has led us down the road to unbalanced, unfair advantage and ruined the true game.
Add this to the TV dictated KOs, the advent of VAR and its intolerable amount of decision times and biased 'influenced '? out comes and football just isn't real as we knew it.
I
I too listen to Thommo Lee and Mike burrows which gives me a sense of connection to the team and live action, inviting them into my room.
I too get depressed over what as become an even bigger part of my live as I have aged. The times under Nuno and the players under him that graced the mol was wonderful, it felt as tho we were on the cusp of breaking the 'big 6' with their financial edge, that went, (as many other things have sadly) after Covid, but it was and as been Fosuns control of our club that is killing us.

As it stands I have found our play boring predictable and I wonder why I continue to watch and listen, but it's that little spark in my heart that love for my club found in my childhood days that gets me excited and living in hope.

So even in my most frustrated despairing day after another poor game and defeat I have hope, it keeps the old head going, I'm hoping we can do the vile, I'm hoping to shock arsenal, sadly under fosun that's all I have, knowing I'm unlikely to see wolves win at wembly again, or compete in Europe, boy, you'll remember, beating Juventus in the EUFA Cup.
But I'll be here as long as, with my gold and black festooned, tear stained scarves hoping.
Keep the faith malc, and all the very best mate.

26 Nov 2025 09:31:21
Why would Fosun put Wolves into administration when they were offered £400 million a few weeks ago and made money in the summer on transfers along with the money coming in from the Premier League for this season. More made up dribble by negative numpties!

26 Nov 2025 11:01:48
Sorry and condolences for your loss Malc.
Malc and Abbey, I agree with everything you say regarding football and Wolves. I too am approaching 70 and have been a fan since 64/65.
I can’t say more, you have already said it.
I just hope we live to see good times return.

If we go right down through the leagues and indeed face another administration, will we find another Sir Jack and another Bully to bring us back from the brink? Hope so and hope we live long enough to see it.

26 Nov 2025 11:10:48
They would put us into administration if it meant they could get away with not paying any loans outstanding, they were not offered 400 million at all they were offered 150 million plus shares in textors company. And you say money coming in from the premier league well that will end this season
The fact that anyone that has a different opinion to you is apparently a “ numpty” sums you up in a nutshell.

Not even the most deluded happy clapper can say they club is being ran well and we will stay up

26 Nov 2025 11:26:07
Why would anyone offer £400 million for a club that is championship bound and has loans against future tv revenue and the stadium stands?

26 Nov 2025 14:11:37
CS1 negative numpties have you been paying attention to what's happening over the past 3 years?
Take of the Fosun blinkers and smell reality.

26 Nov 2025 14:40:45
As pointed out Fosun should not want to put Wolves into admin as it would mean a 12 point deduction with obvious consequences for the football team. (Although if taken this season an irrelevancy). However if the club is unable to pay its obligations as they fall due they legally have no other choice.
Relegation will almost certainly trigger the loan and absorb the parachute payment so even if Fosun waives their own debt, (and why would they), it will be impossible to meet a £250m, (of which £180m is in cash) cost base and service the obligations to other clubs for past transfers from the remaining circa what £30- 40m of income?
Selling the squad will reduce the cost base, (although not by as much as you would hope), and sadly only raise modest sums - many players will either have to be virtually given away or even in the worst cases paid to go - so it is unlikely that after paying debts, (the parachute payment will only cover a portion of the debt), there will be much left over and certainly not enough to run a club for a year.

Admin will allow Fosun to walk away from the remaining debts, purchase "esports" and any other bits they want from the administrator and leave the pesky football team to be picked up by a new investor.
Of course Fosun may back the club and offer short term liquidity to allow it to survive until the following season and the next parachute payment but in which division they will be playing in by then is anyone's guess!

26 Nov 2025 17:04:11
Yes, I’ve been seeing the club go through highs and lows for 50 years and can’t stand Jeff Shi and his lies. BUT is doesn’t make sense to put the club into administration when they’ve were offered £400 million and you can say it was £150 million Rated but in business if you are given shares to a value they still have THAT value.

Four weeks ago when the offer came in we weren’t dead certs for relegation! You also say Gomez is gone 6 weeks before Jan, tell us who’s told you that? Like I said NEGATIVE! And as for the Numpty, No one said it was you and I was referring to people in general but if you want to take the mantle, feel free.

26 Nov 2025 17:35:54
If anyone takes a look at the assets charged as security in September they will see that WORLDWIDE assets from the whole group are charged, land, buildings, insurance policies, players, intellectual assets etc. The parties to the agreement are the 1986 company, the WW (1990) company and the property company. There is no way that anyone would risk all those assets simply to default on a £100mil loan and to walk away.

You cannot 'walk away' from a £100mil loan if you have charged assets worth way in excess of that amount. In my opinion, if relegated, Fosun will go on servicing that loan, and in fact the agreement contains clauses allowing for relegation. Wolves would not be the only club in the Championship with a large loan.

26 Nov 2025 18:08:37
It absolutely boggles me that people even now are still defending fosun
Genuinely cannot get my head round it

26 Nov 2025 18:32:51
It’s not defending Fosun, it’s business acumen! TWO DIFFERENT THINGS! I’d love Elon Musk you buy us or Jeff Bazos and get rid of them. NO club has done well with Chinese owners Villa, Blues, Sandwell and nor will we until they go but administration is not a BUSINESS COMMON SENCE DECISION, even for Fosun!

27 Nov 2025 12:31:38
Well they've shown no football sense CS1.

25 Nov 2025 12:02:44
Right I know this is going to be controversial but iwould sell either Andre or Gomes in jan if Wolve are cut adrift. Reason they are both holding MF Wolves play 5 at the back so with Andre and Gomes that's basically 7 defenders. No wonder Wolves can't score no creativity and only three attackers on sat Wolves had 2 strikers on both over 6 ft but no service.

There is the problem me go to a back 4 play Andre and Gomes plus Lopez Arias or Mane along with Tolu and Larsen. I know people wii say you said you want to sell one or the other yes but if you go to a back 4 plus 2 then you have 4 attackers on the pitch

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Nov 2025 14:57:44
I said the same the other day it's like England had the same issue with Lampard and Gerrard that couldn't gel together. The chances are we won't get out of this mess so might as well cash in and get what we can and rebuild for next season.

I would also look to bring Lima back as this wouldn't impact on the squad ratio and Rob can work with him for next season or even this as he's no worse than the current 2 we have, in fact I'd say he's better.

25 Nov 2025 16:09:44
MRV I would loves Wolves to now give the likes of Mane and Enzoa chance but still fighting reegstion no chance.

25 Nov 2025 17:36:29
It’s not a fight anymore dmac
It’s not even December and we are as good as down.

25 Nov 2025 19:05:07
7 at the back and still concede lol

25 Nov 2025 09:17:14
Could you imagine Liverpool having Everton `Colllege anywhere near their shirt or same scenario City/Utd, Arsenal/Spurs its absolutely ludicrous, shame on you Fosun!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Nov 2025 11:57:53
All that matters to them is the money. They don't care about the fans one iota.

25 Nov 2025 12:38:05
Fosun don't care about the club, it's reputation or standing and Least of all, we the fans.

They shamelessly treat us as cash cows, they regard the stadium as a pop up shop for match day sales.

If this wolves/west Bromwich logo associations are correct it displays an ignorance of the area and alligencies if both clubs.

It tells us everything we need to know and explains Jeff's disregard of our position.

I fully expect Fosun to sell next summer after they've stripped us to the bone, and left us to the dogs. I can only pray we attract an honest ambitious and wealthy owner to pick up the pieces.

25 Nov 2025 13:47:09
It is correct abbey
Sandwell college and the words West Bromwich appear on the esports shirts
Horrific even by fosuns low standards

25 Nov 2025 14:59:36
I bet if they sell us (which won't be next season as they will try and get back in prem league to maximise their returns) they will try and take our Badge with them to keep for the Esports arm of their business.

25 Nov 2025 17:29:35
Sorry if I sounded doubting De wolf, it's just that I'm not from or in the Wolverhampton area or seen anything Esports.
But it's everything I said, they're running us into the ground.
