HITC reporting Osario, "The new Angel di Maria" will be missed by his teammates.

Hope we are not going to just bundle him into the reserves and then off like "the new Leo Campana" instead.

Another wonderkid winger.
The winger scouts are working overtime.
What are the striker scouts doing.

If we are true to form at 18 years old either the reserves or Grasshoppers, can't see him in the first team based on that we are sending Silva off to Anderlecht, who already has a few years premiership experience under his belt, who I thought was actually getting better. Doesn't seem feasable that we would swop that for an 18 yr old with such limited experience of first team football. Dunno, may be wrong, in saying that I still think we should go out and get him given all the talk about his potential.

Wake up. Silvas useless.

If Osario does sign, I reckon he'll integrate with the first team and will appear in the Chiquinho role following the latters' unfortunate injury.

Can't agree to Fabio being useless, he hasn't lived up to his fee but that's not his fault. He has indeed improved STH, and I believe he will return and progress to become a very good player,he is still very young and should be given the chance.
Just my opinion of course.

Norfolk - As discussed before "Hyperbole is King". Silva is ( in my opinion) not useless and you are defintely correct he massively improved last year. I imagine he will indeed return next season as we now have a 6 year contract with him of which only 3 will have expired.
He is also as you say still young and has not, as yet, played a significant, (although that is a subjective word), amount of minutes in the Premier league.
However I think we have to accept that it is still hard to claim that he will become a "very good" player regardless of the fee paid for him.
Although no longer as slow as he was when he arrived - when he was patently unfit - nor as easy to knock off the ball as he initially was he is still no athlete.
His touch is ok and his vision acceptable but sadly he no longer seems to have the gift of finding time and space in the box - perhaps defenders, noting his improvement, were actually watching him last season.
Even worse though for a tall man his heading is poor and overall his finishing remains very disappointing.
So as with most things the truth probably sits somewhere between the 2 extremes - he is not useless but at the moment he is far from a very good player.

Fabio is a cub but he will become a Wolf.

And mine Norfolk

Osorio is a full international for Chile and very highly rated so I suspect he's for the first team (possibly as cover) now if we do sign him.

Fabio is shocking. I thought Paul Stewart was worse though.

I'm a STH but don't think Fabio has improved me. Damn acronyms! Nice one, for a change,E and nail on the head Future.

Old - what you don't say is if you thought he was better than I do in his first year or is worse in his 2nd year than I give him credit for?
For me in his first year he was not an adult footballer and shouldn't have been in the first team squad but with the u23.
This year for me he was looking like a prospect for the first 11 - not yet ready but moving in the right direction.
He would appear to be behind players like Chiquinho but ahead of say Corbeanu?

Future:I think he improved in his second year and was slightly stronger and quicker;the biggest improvement was in his passing and vision outside the box. Worryingly, for a forward, his biggest issues seem to be finishing and getting in the right position and, as for heading, he has very little ability and I'm not sure any amount of coaching will improve that sufficiently. The jury is therefore very much out but,of course,he is still very young so fingers crossed.
