My goodness, it's like a kids playground on here! People throwing around accusations. Apart from one or two why don't you grow up? There really is much more important matters going on in the world! It all stems from frustration with Fosun, I know, I feel it too, however I am mature enough to step back and see things for what they are! How many times does it have to be stated- Fosun,Shi et al do not give the proverbial about the supporters and the club - period. Shi has actually stated this in so many words for pity sake. Hence no transfer activity, sheesh! I'm outta here!

Agree0 Disagree0

I partially agree with you as a new poster but Fosun are in a financial liquidity crisis according to Bloomberg.
We must wait and see…

Bored of the BS! that’s my motivation. Imagine coming on here just to get some attention?

O dear, hope all those rumours about fosun aren't true, for the club's sake, but I get where most of u are comming from, and why you think what you do,it does seem at the moment, that fosun aren't committing to a massive outlay,on transfers, which will generate all the concerns, all's we as supporters can do,is hope that they do come up with some funds,at the end of the day,we must all,get behind, the team
Whoever pulls on our beloved shirt every game.

Well we can read and speculate and moan and groan, truth is Neves is still ours as it stands, traore is ours as it stands, moutininho may or may not be ours, but there's a lot of money tied into the three of them both in transfer value and wage savings. I can't think that approaches havnt been made and fosun declined if we're desperate. All the talk of the players we've been interested in may have been overhyped, hence a lot of disappointment. Palhina seemed a genuine situation I admit and if he is recruited to Fulham it'll feel like a reflection on our lack of funding. Or, a big city over west midlands? Who knows the guys preferences of living. I seriously don't think Jeff can of let us get this far and then stall, so my mystic Meg head (with fingers crossed and prayer) says that at the end of this week 2 exciting pieces of transfer dealings will have happened. That's not itk just personal feelings.

A club doesn’t have to spend mega millions on a player, it’s about recruitment and gettig value for money. Wolves can’t compete against Chelsea and Man City etc. okay

But the midfield does need to be addressed as well as a goal scorer (I say give RH another season). If the money for Traore is spent wisely we could be okay.

E Wombourne, Oxley and myself only tell it as it is. Probably seen this so many times over.
Please Fosun sell up and go, or at least come and break with your traditions and tell us the truth.
No transfers. Fosun going bust. Relegation. That's the truth

03 Jul 2022 18:52:27
SQ you’ve been banging that drum the past four seasons now (relegation) why would you want Fosun to sell, nobody has come out and said they’re financially f’d etc.?

Fosun have done more to develop Wolves in terms of marketing etc than any other previous owners. Keep your knickers on folks.

If none of you can see what’s happening on here then you’ve clearly taken the bait. Do not pay attention to the BSers. (Not aimed at SQ specifically, I mean in the broad sense)

That’s why I’m making comments at folk trying to wind others up, it’s pathetic. I sort of enjoy their silence or watching their mask slip. It’s happened today already and last week.

Imagine being on holiday and coming on here to post falsehoods, or worse again pretending to be on holiday and posting falsehoods?

Let’s wait to see how things unfold rather than jumping the gun, eh?

Rant over,

Debs xx

We’ve had owners in the past run into financial difficulties, Bhatti’s tried to close II down, the Club’s bigger than any owners, Fosun done well initially, established the Club in the Premier League but now it’s plain to see they’ve taken the Club as far as they’re going too, not being willing or able to invest in a Premier League Club you own just isn’t an option. The Championship and League one are home to quite a few Clubs who ran into financial difficulties and hoped they were too good to go down, their demise usually starts with players wanting to leave, regular first team players contacts not being renewed and players not wanting to sign for you, sometimes even preferring to go to newly promoted Clubs. Fosun need to make a decision, for themselves, for the Club and last and least, for the fans.

Whatever it is, it is what it is but we start from a much stronger position than we ever have before. Time for some faith and get behind the team whatever the circumstances.

Bang on Debbie.

If Fosun are in financial trouble then it means one of two things for Wolves. Either the club is self sufficient so at worst it would need to be sold. Or it isn't self sufficient and Fosun are still funding it, in which case some on here need to wind their necks in a bit. It's very easy to spend someone else's money when you don't have to be accountable for it. Or when it is spent you can sit and moan about how the player it's been spent on isn't good enough and how the grass is greener at Nottingham Forest.

If you keep predicting relegation one day you may be right and earn your bragging rights, but it's a sad way to be right on something.

How anyone can have the audacity and lack of gratitude after the past 6 years to tell Fosun to sell up is so ridiculous it's laughable. Yes they could be more transparent at times, and yes the team could do with a couple of more additions. They've also made mistakes but find me a set of owners who haven't.

All these who criticise them never offer any constructive solutions, such as who should buy us? If Fosun have looked for extra investment and it hasn't come in, maybe that should tell people there isn't appetite for buying into Wolves currently from elsewhere. And even if there was, where are these supposed people going to find the money from to take the club to the top 6 if it isn't generated by the club, and why should they put their money forward to do it?

In my humble opinion, the panic button is being hit too soon. Let’s just see what happens.

The thing I don't understand about those wanting Fosun to sell is who they think is standing by with billions to lose on a Midlands based footy team?! People will say look at Newc, but those types of investors are VERY rare, once a decade you might get that level of owner! Let's compare with a different new owner, look at Southampton. Now I believe they were on the market for around 2 years and when they finally got new owners what was there mantra excalty?! That's right 'more of the same please we just need this club to grow quietly and be self sufficient'! People say about new owners like its a guarantee to success well it ain't, don't belive me then just ask our friends at the Poorthorns! I actually feel sorry for them, for an owner to pubically admit they've taken £5m out of the club in 'loans' while the club struggles to even mount a serious promotion push must be humiliating for the fans! Newer doesn't always mean better I'm afraid, just like chucking stupidly large amounts of money around doesn't always make you a better team. Just ask Fulham they are still trying to shift half the players they bought last time they came up and spent £100m! If indeed Fosun DO find themselves in a position where they HAVE to sell (everything so far suggests that's a long way off) but what do you think that means for our club?! Cause what you will have is an owner that just needs a quick sale to the highest bidder and that does not necessarily mean the right/best bidder for our club! Add to this you will have a set of buyers knowing the owners are desperate for a sale, will that attract the type of buyer you all want, unlikely!
I've taken issue with many of Fosuns choices in the last 2/3 seasons but not at one point have I ever thought they'd let us get relegated. That still hasn't changed because no matter how much more I wish Fosun HAD done there's no getting a way from the fact that what they HAVE done is turn us into an established Prem team. Again if you think that's easy just ask the owners of Fulham, Bournemouth, Brom or Norwich (I could go on:) why they are struggling to do it when Fosun have made it look easy! Careful what you wish for peeps!

100% Bully. I actually put a stat on here a while ago that since Wolves got promoted only Villa, Leeds and Brentford have come up and not gone back down. Take into account with that Villa were essentially kept up by a goal line technology failure, and if Kevin Friend hadn't been such a poor ref for the game versus Wolves then Leeds most likely would have gone last season too. It shows that even before maintaining mid table finishes for 4 straight seasons just how difficult it is to establish a club back in the top flight.

Well said Bullys/Winton/Debbie/Alex, why people come on here obsessed with relegation is beyond me. Thanks to Fosun we've been nowhere near that since our return to the Prem, but every year about this time the same doom and gloom merchants, plus, one or two new ones, spring up to preach their nonsense.
I don't understand the anti Fosun and Fosun don't care about the fans comments at all. Wolves like any other business needs a period of financial security and profitability in order to grow in a controlled manner. We've had too much boom and bust in the past and that's not healthy or desirable.
Wolves are set up to be a standalone cost centre within a multinational business empire which means that the owners wealth or lack of will not impinge on the running of the club. Fosun invested heavily to get us out of the Championship to the extent that we ran straight into EUEFA'S FFP rules and got sanctioned for it. Also they recently lifted a £100M plus debt obligation off the club. I'll back steady growth within affordable financial parameters whilst seeking value for money in the transfer market over cavalier spending anytime.
