Been reading the threads with interest now some questions.
Was we really in for Palinha and Nunes or was it just the press conjuring up stories?
If say we was in for Nunes then maybe that's why we flew someone out to South America to tie things up and finalise it as Nunes is on holiday out there.
As Tommo has said things are in the pipeline regarding signings etc, I believe Tommo as he has been spot on so far in what he has posted.
Regarding players out on loan I agree with BB we need to loan them out to better quality teams than Grasshoppers, ideally a Championship team to toughen them up a bit etc.
Hope everyone is having a great day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets hope its the latter Rated because none of us know whether 'interest' in some of these players is real or clickbait. I tend to subscribe to Tommo's post of a couple of days ago, simply due to the number of players released or loaned.
Without serious re-enforcements next season won't be pretty and no one wants that. Hopefully, Jimenez, Silva and Whang will click next year but I still think we need another out and out striker of note and another centre half as a minimum.
Plus Nunez, of course, unless he's clickbait as well.

Nunez went to Liverpool mate I know you meant Nunes really i'm just playing you up lol :P

I'm more concerned that Bruno came out publicly and said he wanted new signings for the start of pre-season. The fact that this hasn't happened worries me that Fosun simply don't take him seriously.

Your right Rooted, I am prune to the odd typo. ??

Interesting that the palhina done deal with Fulham is now reported by sky news as 'Fulham are keen on palhina and weighing up a £20 mil bid'. The other day he was about to sign for 17mil. Who really knows what's going to happen? He may still yet be old gold.

On hold at minute, mendes, claiming he's agreed the deal is to wolves,
But who knows what's going on

Well it looks like Raphina could be off to Chelsea which in turn would give Leeds the money and the need for Adama. Let's hope this kicks off the dominoes we need. Let's also hope all those on here who say Adamas worse than our other options turn out to be correct ?

Now semedo linked to atletico,
Is the exodus starting
Very much hope not

I don't think Semedo will go anywhere Greyleg as the players that left were either surplus to requirements, loaned out or like Saiss, wanted longer contracts. Two things concern me, firstly, Moutinho re-signing could mean no Nunes and Wolves management 'quietly feel' that Jimenez will return to form, so potentially no new striker either.
Hopefully we will see several new faces to freshen things up and give Lage options because as things stand, he's actually worse off.

Long- I've been thinking this as well, for all the mids we've been tied to let's be honest Moutinhos and (hopefully) Neves ain't staying to warm a bench. If Lage wants to play 4-4-2 then I don't see how the club would justify a big spend on a cm. I get that it's needed to transition from Moutinho but still can't see it if they both stay. I suppose it's a problem we'd all be very happy with if it means another season of Reuben. That said I do think if he re-signs we should all still be prepared for him to leave in the not to distant future, cause I'd be amazed if it didn't include a release fee. As long it's a good one then I have no problem with that, as I suspect that was always the long term plan for Neves. He leaves (rightly) as a club hero and we double/triple out investment to put back into the squad. I'd hate to see it happen but it wouldn't be bad business in fairness ?

I hope we"re wrong Bullys but that all seems very Wolves to me. I would rather see Nunes than Mouts as it means we are building for the future but deep down I think we know he isn't coming. It might mean Palhinha still happens given recent reports but there's one thing I've come to realise with Wolves transfers of late. Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed.

That's so truelongmymnd. The other thing is neves is the gold mine at present, moutininho legs not getting any younger, although I'd hate either to go it make business sense financially to replace with suitable replacements. That said we can't buy the journey neves and mouts have taken us on or the loyalty and affliation to the club they've shown. But money talks and we have to look forward. I'll also be sad to see traore leave, ok he wants out, ok he was literally hit or miss, but he was exciting, I always felt reassured we had something on the bench that could put the fear into the opposition, the thought of him running AT us is uncomfortable. Long days rumours headlines and surprises ahead I suspect.
