Still nobody signed? But they're coming? Yeah, sure they are! Too many on here are blinded by loyalty that Fosun use and abuse. Get real!

Current confirmed Premiership transfers is 19.
Halland and Nunez aside, I can't say I would want who has already gone. Most good players have several offers and so transfers are slower:-
Armel Bella-Kotchap [VfL Bochum - Southampton] £8.6m SOTON
Calvin Ramsay [Aberdeen - Liverpool] £4.2m LIVERPOOL
Darwin Nunez [Benfica - Liverpool] £64m LIVERPOOL
Diego Carlos [Sevilla - Aston Villa] Reported £26m ASTON VIL
Erling Haaland [Borussia Dortmund - Man City] £51.2m MAN CITY
Fabio Viera [Porto - Arsenal] £34.2m ARSENAL
Fraser Forster [Southampton - Tottenham] Free TOTTENHAM
Gavin Bazunu [Manchester City - Southampton] £12m SOUTHAMPTON
Marc Roca [Bayern Munich - Leeds] £10m LEEDS
Marquinhos [Sao Paulo - Arsenal] Undisclosed ARSENAL
Mateusz Lis [Altay - Southampton] Free SOUTHAMPTON
Matt Targett [Aston Villa - Newcastle] £15m NEWCASTLE

Good work Camo. The issue with getting good players is that other clubs want them, they cost more, and the want to play in Europe. To break through the glass ceiling of the top 6 and to do it consistently is not easy.

Neither is constant year on year progress. Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps back to move forward especially when evolving or regenerating a playing squad.

This is hopefully a constructive set of questions as I'm a little too stupid to understand where all the negativity comes from. If you're not happy with Wolves not challenging the top 6 now, how have you been feeling the past 50 years that it also hasn't been happening?

I've seen the calls for the board to sell up which frankly I can't agree with. Who else would buy us? Who would be able to come in and ignore or risk breaking FFP rules and spend more money? Could the club spend more money and be more successful or could we still end up getting relegated? Could we end up getting an owner who really doesn't care about the club at all, like our neighbours in Sandwell? Do we want to remain a small community club with no resource to compete at the top level, or do we embrace a plan for international markets to buy into "brand" Wolves for other non football things to increase commercial revenues that can go back into the club? Do we want a fan to own us like Sir Jack who threw good money after bad to achieve one dismal PL season and pull the plug on the money, but love him despite the lack of success his tenure brought on the pitch?

We might have a disappointing window, we might have a disappointing season but I think there is a much bigger picture at stake. As Phil rightly says - be patient. I always remember Roy Hodgson saying after Albion battered us - be careful what you wish for. I think those words apply now just as much as they did then.

Alex Wolf ???? people forget where we came from I suspect half didn’t follow us through the divisions and were probably villa/ Man Utd or Liverpool growing up ?

Great Post alexwolf, a good reality check. I've been wolves as long as I remember but the recent rises and success brought us to a point of thinking we were there and things would naturally progress further and further. Truth is we have to catch our 'breath' and go at a more pedestrian pace. After all the excitement this comes as a let down to some and I have to say, as a disappointment. That's why your so right, we need to take stock and think ourselves lucky to be where we are and playing in the too flight and not down in the EFL. So let's keep the faith, keep the support. Forever wolves.

25 Jun 2022 15:06:27
Good post Alex. We can't do a Chelsea or Man City, we need to do a lot of organic growth, and that takes time. Money is not the sole answer to getting success, ask Everton or Barcelona.

Nice to see a realistic how it is post Alex nice one ?

Wolves are, always have been and always will be one of the greatest pleasures in life.
Whatever circumstances are whatever anyone believes circumstances are you will want wolves to be the best even in old 4th division.
Away games used to make the clubs their season financially with our support.
It's always been there.
Even moaning negative fans supporting wolves.
The more we got better the more supporters come out the woodwork.
My dad played Crib and domino's in the wolverhampton leagues 3 or 4 times a week for mist his adult years and knew a lot of people and my dad told me when a kid that a lot of friends wolves fans stopped going to the match when wolves got relegated in the 80,s saying they're not paying to watch second tier football.
Now we established premier league club.
