Blimey BB2 who urinated in your cabbage patch? I am entitled to a comment you know! Lage reminds me of Saunders physically, you know a 'lookalike '! Take your foot off the gas fella, you may live longer!

Clearly not what you meant FoxInnWolf.

I'm just getting a bit bored of peeps taking cheap shots at Bruno and that's what it was! If you want him gone have the stones to just say that, instead of making fairly transparent comparisons between a man that's managed one of our better seasons in the Prem (with no budget) with a man SO inept he got us relegated to League One. And your right you are entitled to comment, just like I'm entitled to say that I think said comment was nonsense. So yeah I agree, take ya foot off the gas indeed cause I'm not the one taking cheap shots at our own manager ?

Bruno looks nothing like Dean Saunders. The conclusion I drew from the statement was relegation. Happy to be wrong on that, but I just don't see the likeness.

I'm with BB on this getting tired of people taking shots at Bruno, let's not forget he inheritated Nunos team who were on a downward spiral anyway.
What Bruno has achieved with that bunch of players is incredible, like all clubs get we just have a dip in form atm.
Mark my words come Summer people are going to be eating humble pie because I think we are going to see big changes playerwise and quite a tasty transfer kitty, Fosun will not let us get relegated and they will back Bruno because they've had a taste of Europe, only ffp restrictions have stopped them investing, those restrictions are gone now watch this space.

What’s your view on the increase in season tickets for pensioners Rated?

16 May 2022 16:08:14
I hope you're right @Rated RKO - I'd like to see a lot more investment in the team, it really is needed to make the next step up. What does give me confidence in this happening is Bruno's statement about wanting "ready-made first-team signings this summer"

16 May 2022 16:53:10
Ur right everyone's entitled to their opinion, that's how it should be,what we should do is accept them, whether we agree or not, regarding avin a swipe at lage,he is the manager and that's where the buck stops, keep up all your thoughts,it's good.,at the end of the day,we all love wolves

I'm going to sound harsh here E mate watching a match is a luxury not a need so pensioners imo should pay the same as everyone else, sorry if I sound harsh but that is my view on it.

Bruno has had a tough hand to play. High expectations and a thin squad, coupled with a desire to change the style and not the correct players to match. Long injuries and raw youngsters. Bruno's fair test should be next season with his own additions. Right now Fosun should back him, which I trust they see they must do, given recent performances. But comparison with Dean Saunders is a cruel joke.

Evening all, I'm with you BB, Bruno should now know what's needed and should be backed, if this is not followed through by the top brass then we know where the issue at the club is. I believe Bruno has shown more than enough that he has the ability take us to the next step, all this Bruno out nonsense is driving me mad, yes people have their opinions, but what with haste in replacing him with another manager who will be ran again in 12 months, Nuno had time and so should Bruno. Also I'm a fan of his honesty, if he wants to call players out for not having the right attitude he should, they get very well payed to perform, regardless of who they are, the manager deserves respect from the players.

The thing is though Sydney Nuno won the championship at a canter in his first season, finished 7th in the premier in the second season and the quarter finals of Europe in his third.
Bruno has overseen a good first half of the season and a dire second half.
I think some fan's, myself included, wonder whether we can trust him to spend what money we do have for transfers wisely, cos if he gets it wrong we will have a relegation battle on our hands.

Rated RKO : why can’t pensioners pay the same as away fans? Seemed like a good idea to cap away tickets at £30 but it’s well out of proportion now, some home fans are paying almost double to watch the same match, everybody pays the same would be fairer with maybe concessions for family groups ( if they don’t mind their kids listening to the “support” from the South Bank).

Big Cheese, I hear what your saying, but the team has been in decline since the Europa league run, no proper investment, the sale of Jota etc. That team you mention had gone stale last season and needed freshening up, Lage has done a decent job to get to finish inside the top 10, and that's on the back of a very bad run of form for the second half of the season. Letting Adama go at a very crucial time of the season, a couple of key injuries, the Leeds result has knocked the stuffing out a few players, Lage can only do so much as a coach, so I think its fair to say, the club need to back him and let him at it.
The changing of the coach coupled with key players maybe going is not Ideal, but its better the devil we know than trying to bring in another coach who has to start all over again.
