Should Wolves sell Silva if Real Madrid really are interested. Will he come good for us or would we be be better letting him go.
I think he's been a victim of circumstance here so far but will next season see him blossom into the player everyone was hoping for?

If they offer at least what we paid or a valuable swap deal then sell and include a sell on clause. I'd see this as unlikely though. Otherwise keep him.

I agree he has been a victim of circumstance, and there is definitely a player in there. The question on the transfer fee is all about whether who sanctioned it paid for the potential or paid for something for now. I think it was the former personally although the timing of it was questionable.

The problem with a lot of young forwards at his age is that their end product is still developing. There are very very few forwards in the world who do it week in week out at the highest level as teenagers. Most of the current best attackers in the world didn't become regular scorers until at least their early twenties.

A definite keep for me, he will become a top class striker if the potential wasn't there no one would be interested, but they are and we would be foolish to sell.

Steve Bull has a stand named after him at Molineux but he never played for us in the Premier League.
It’s not Fabio’s fault that we paid over the odds for him but at the same time he has to earn the right to play in the Premier League for a top half team.
He has improved and has bulked up but has not shown that he has the natural ability and goalscoring knack of a top striker.

Not for us so far E, but that's the dilemma. Winton makes a good point though, especially when the 'someone interested' may be Real Madrid. I'm sure they can spot talent.

Real Madrid are only keeping an eye on Fabio Longmynd and if he does drastically improve they know they can sign him any time they want.
Hope he does start getting goals and assists for us.
Before we signed Hwang permanently it was said that Liverpool and Manchester City were interested in him too but they didn’t try and sign him.

Certainly not for anything less than our outlay, and we should make sure of a sell on percentage. Remember our selling of Robbie Keane? Coventry mugged us. Fabio as been abit unfortunate really in bypassing youth experience and being propelled unready and raw into the Premier ist team level. He frustrated us in our over expectancy but I feel the lads going to be OK. Question is do we sit on a vast financial spend in hope or cash in and acquire (which were going to need) somebody (s) ready to go.
