Why have we had so many injuries lately?
Does it come down to Bruno pushing them to their limits and over working them?
If you look at the league table if it were two points for a win we would be level on points with Brighton and in a group with Soton Palace Leicester and Newcastle.
We are a comfortable mid table team who were trying to get in with the top teams without the strength in depth leading to injuries and rushing players back from injury making it worse.

Didn't realise you had medical background, E.

02 May 2022 13:17:05
The medical department of the club had a revamp in September 2021 Belfast so it looks like they are learning on the job.
No my advice was not sought by the club at the time of the revamp.

Haha, I don't know why your so stuck on this two points a win cobblers! Sorry E but it's just complete nonsense, there's a reason they changed it and there's a reason no one (well other than you:) has looked back on that decision and its cause it was a good one! A sport where you can win the league with more draws than wins would be truly rubbish! Move on E cause you refer to it as a metric that means something when it REALLY doesn't! You might as well say that if points were assigned on players hair cuts and tell us our league place in that, it's about as relevant as banging on about an obsolete and dull two point a win system! Move on E, it's the second time you've made me say this so let's hope there isn't a third cause we all know how much you dislike things coming in threes! ?

Why bother with draws then Bully’s.
Winner gets 1 point loser gets nothing.
No draws allowed.

02 May 2022 13:51:30
And my original POINT Bully’s was that we are realistically closer to Soton Brighton and Palace than the Champions League teams that we aspire to catch up with and maybe Bruno may have been pushing them too hard and exacerbating injuries when the medical team must have approved their fitness.

What are you banging on about?! You don't need to create ridicolous metrics based on a scoring system which is over 40 years out of date as it has absolutely no relevance! If you actually bothered to look at the table you'd realise it's making your point for you without medieval scoring systems! We are already closer to EVERY team you list than we are the Champs League and without your nonsensical 2 point system?! So what exactly is your point as the two point system has about as much relevance as most of the Old Etonian Rules at this stage, in fact EVEN less than those cause some of those rules survived! ?

02 May 2022 15:18:45
Bully’s Boy 3 points has made no difference whatsoever to the way teams play and since the change in 1981 which was advocated by Jimmy Hill who was Coventry City chairman (where are they now?)only one team would not have won the league they did under the old two point system.Three points to you if you can name that team.

02 May 2022 15:49:50
Man Utd instead of Blackburn. The change to 3 points was made to encourage teams to try and win rather than draw. So although only one team would have won the league under the 2 points system, there are many relegated team that would have stayed up under the old system but didn't under the current system.

02 May 2022 16:02:40
Correct Jas M.
And the reason it is relevant today is that there is nothing to choose between Man City and Liverpool who are neck and neck but Liverpool would be ahead under the old system so who is actually the better team.
Some would say City some Liverpool.
We may get to find out when we face them.

Good evening my friends, some harrowing news for all of us,I've heard from a source that I can't reveal, and if I'm telling u lies,I've been told lies, firstly regarding the bust up in training, was true,he told two or three players to **** ***,regarding what lage said at halftime against Brighton" just get out and play, and earn your money"
Regarding players/ transfers
Seven first teamers being sold,
To fund transfers if any green lighted, plus more youth being given a chance next season,
Make of it what u will,
Concerning news

Well, if it is true then good on him for calling out the players who aren't performing. Sir Alex used to do it at Man Utd and so did the great Brian Clough. If players aren't performing then they need to be challenged as does anyone who under performs in any walk of life.
Regarding the transfers, Bruno gave an interview after the January window saying how the players he wanted were either unavailable or too expensive but he had given the list to the board and said 'sort it out'. I'm sure he said he'd provided a list of 10 players and expected at least half of them to come in.

Training ground bust ups happen all the time and I'm quite sure Ferguson to players to f off on numerous occasions. Shows at least some spirit, as for not going around with a smile on their faces which I've read, after recent performances I should hope not.

Re transfers Bruno seems to deal better and have more success with younger players. You can't move on a lot of senior guys but you can refresh the squad a bit. Not sure where we are going with this but certainly over the last couple of years we have not really progressed a great deal. Perhaps it's time for a change of players. I don't know I just hope they know what they are doing but I'm not holding my breath frankly. Make a big mistake and we know what happens sadly!
