I will defend Dendonker as week in week out he seems to be the scapegoat and we get the children name calling him Dendonkey, thankfully no-one on here does that now a certain poster has gone.
As far as i'm concerned whilst he wears our shirt he is part of the pack it takes 11 to make a team not 1.

Yes mate.,he plays as best he can,as do all of them,but the whole team looked clueless,no belief in one another,looks like 8th place now,which after first three games you could argue is a great finish
But to be in a position to finish higher,and drop points to teams below is,is un,acceptable,
My personal opinion,is fosun may get
Rid of lage soon.

I have to agree with you Greyleg. We have now lost as many as we have won, which is poor considering the last 5 fixtures. The team selections have been bizarre in certain games and the team have lacked drive. Unfortunately all these points lay firmly at the feet of the manager and his team. He was doing such a great job but the wheels are now off and the players seem disinterested. Coady says it all for me as he is usually so vocal and animated, but I only heard him a couple of times this weekend. Fingers crossed for the summer, let's hope Fosun get it right.

Rumours of a bust up between Lage, Raul and Jonny explain their absenteeism. As soon as Lage embarrassed Hoever in public he lost a lot of respect in the dressing room. I wouldn't be surprised if Fosun have been accelerating their contingency plan for the Summer regarding the Manager. For me Silva has to go out on loan for 12 months and bring back Campana for the bench if we can't get a Maxi Gomez/Origi type in. Maybe even a cheeky bid for Lukaku.

Recently I have been of the opinion that Bruno, far from getting the best out of our players is actually turning some of our very talented players into mere shadows of themselves. We have quality in every position but the style of play doesn't get anywhere near the best out of them, just serves to frustrate them as was obvious at times yesterday. The pretty football that Bruno seems to favour isn't getting us anywhere in the long run and if our current form draws over to next season it's going to be a hard watch for all the faithful.
The league position doesn't lie but I am starting to think that it flatters us. Players should be happy and motivated to play for the fans/shirt/club etc. the players on the pitch yesterday didn't even seem to be playing for themselves.

I agree with most of the sentiment on here. I'm beginning to think Lage has lost the dressing room. Ever since wolves walked off pitch at half time against Arsenal they've been rubbish. A game by the way that we looked like walking. The players are Shadow of the former selves. I think Lage instructions are the problem, players don't trust him anymore.

I know its been a tough wkend and as I said myself THAT performance would lead to questions. However, I do think one or two on here need a reality check as to where this 'squad' is! Before the start of the season I don't think I would have found a supporter on here brave enough to call a top ten finish! We are currently in 8th despite having a FAR thinner squad than the last time we finished around there! Yes we are on a bad run but where was all this doubt in Bruno when we were on a good run?! Six weeks back peeps were shouting Champs League and now everyone's talking like Lages clueless and been getting by on luck?! Just not sure why everyone's so quick to assume the worst. Like good runs bad rund also happen, we can't just get a new manager everytime we have a tricky couple of months!
Oh and like I said, we are still in 8th! In what realm is this squad good enough to sack a man that got it 5 points clear of 8th?! Sorry gents but I think some need a reality check on the quality we have (or rather don't especially in terms of depth) and if the club sack Lage now then I would include Fosun in that! COYW ?

Spot on Bully! I called 13th before a ball had been kicked, so anything above that is superb.
I do think something currently isn't right with the team, but we don't know what happens at the training ground. It could be something of nothing or it could develop into an issue. Either way I don't believe the treatment of Hoever has anything to do with it.
There will always be those who want to assume the worst. If we were falling away from the top 4, it would be "there should have been more investment to compete". the same would have been said if we'd kept pace with City and Liverpool and then fell away.
We should remember where we've come from, enjoy the fact there's been no predicted relegation battle and see what happens in pre season.

The Hoever incident was after the Crystal palace game, we won 3 out of 4 games after that and scored 4 against Watford in the very next match. It should have been 4 wins (Leeds). The implosion really happened against Leeds, although we did beat Villa its been downhill since. Hard to really put your finger on it but we've had a poor run at the end of the season for the last 3 times.
