Any preferences if who will promoted from the championship?

I don't want Millwall horrible fans.
My work colleague told me the Millwall fans causing violence in the city (Birmingham)the weekend.
Their fans are nasty scumbags nutters.

Agree0 Disagree0

The did indeed Phil. Unfortunately I was working at the time and had to deal with the aftermath.

From a football perspective Forest, from a selfish perpective the one most likely ti go straight back whoever that is.

26 Apr 2022 10:16:10
Jas I thought of you straight away when my work colleague told me.
I wouldn't of liked to be in your shoes mate fairplay what you do in your job hooliganism, covid 2 years ago ?

Abbey I would like forest to come up but lol spot on the one most likely down but not Millwall.

Be happy to see Forest up. Also like to see Luton as the rise from non league to the Premier League is a good story and gives all clubs outside of the top flight hope they can get to the top on sporting merit.

It's almost an impossibility now this season, but it would be nice to see Coventry make it back to the Premier League after what their fans have been through in recent years.

26 Apr 2022 11:22:47
Thats ok Phil.

26 Apr 2022 11:28:03
Like you alexwolf I'd of liked to have Coventry make it. Huddersfield purely for the nostalgia of them from years ago. Luton, believe in the dream reason. Sheffield utd because of MGW. Forest because of cloughie and Pearce and their glory days that we snuffed out at Wembley.

26 Apr 2022 12:01:16
I'd like to see Luton come up for that fairytale feeling like when Brentford came up.

26 Apr 2022 12:11:03
Be good to see Luton make it. I used to live down there in the early 60's and used to support them with my mates at that time. Always keep an eye on how they do so be good to see them make it.

Ken,
Nick Owen off Midlands today he is Luton sure he was on the board years ago.

26 Apr 2022 15:04:27
Anyone with an initial that comes after W in the alphabet as I'm sick of starting the season bottom of the table. That'll be Yeovil Town then. ?

26 Apr 2022 16:12:13
Phil, my claim to fame is that I stood in for Nick Owen at Kidderminster Town Hall, to entertain the gathering when he couldn't make it, about 10 years ago.

26 Apr 2022 17:04:30
Longmynd lol ? brilliant ha ha.

Lostcity quality mate.

Lol my claim to fame Duncan goodyew at butlins when I was about 10 years old.

I did know mad micks assistant Terry Connor he was my boss best mate.
I went with my boss to watch my boss and Terry connor sons play football they were playing a team in wolverhampton.
Terry connor got me 2 tickets for Liverpool away my first time at Anfeild we won 0-1 Stephen Ward scored which I read he has recently retired from football.

Were Luton the first side to astro turf years ago? I know QPR tried it too.

26 Apr 2022 17:30:59
@Phil789 Fun Fact: Terry Connor is the first BAME player in Subbuteo

26 Apr 2022 18:17:23
Class Deb I will tell my boss tomorrow.
???

26 Apr 2022 19:28:40
How do you know,Debbie? Holding a clipboard I guess. ???

26 Apr 2022 20:35:12
@ Old Wulf, It was one of the few positives the media used when Terry "Clipboard" Connor got the job of interim manager of Wolves.

26 Apr 2022 20:55:16
Phil, you are correct about Owen but that was long after I was down there. I moved to the Midlands in 1966 and since then supported my local team Wolves but I always keep an eye open on the teams where I used to live one of which is no longer in the top league's. In order they are Preston, Workington, Lincoln City, Luton then Wolves.
In the Luton days I saw David Pleat make his debut on the wing for Luton. Not a bad player they signed him from non league Kettering. More useless info.! ?

Great Ken always interested in everything you post ?

27 Apr 2022 07:36:00
QPR Abbey I googled it ?

Longmynd,
Wrexham??

27 Apr 2022 10:19:53
That'll do it Phil, actually so would Ken's Workington. The Baggies were no help either, not that we'll be seeing them anytime soon.?

27 Apr 2022 12:25:53
Cheers Phil, it was one of the silliest trials ever I think. Bounce of ball, water retention injuries etc.

27 Apr 2022 13:12:56
Abbey I used to play on astro turf in a 7 a side league our mates out the local boozers.
Wow we used to turn up a hour early watch the team we would be playing the following week the car boot open with crates of knockoff foreign lager be half cut and we all used to say I'm having him next week he looks tasty lol half our team was drunk and every week we woukd have 1 out of 2 mates sent off yet we always seemed to win.
We used to get like carpet burns on your knees and legs.
Lol good times then when you're jack the lad no cares in the world work all day 10/12 hour shifts play football on the night on the lash and get up for work and surprisingly no mistakes at work the next day.
Feel like crap all day tell yourself after work straight home and early night but when clocking out suddenly feel alright and straight to the pub and repeat all week lol
I can't do that no more lol.
