Hi from a sunny but very windy Netherlands.
I'm going for 2-0 tomorrow evening with Silva to score and Trincao to turn 'em inside out (lol).
Like you Phil/Abbey I'll be watching with family, my son, who also supported Liverpool as a child.
Most of his mates supported Man U or Liverpool for some reason.

All the best for you in the Netherlands lol its great in Birmingham in the dungeon at work ha ha.

I went to anfeild with wolves in a boozer by the ground there were quite a few Dutch Liverpool fans.
Were great and had the banter with them.

Hello longmynd from windy Oxfordshire. You've reminded me we beat Den Hague in the uefa Cup back in the 70s. I'd only heard of Ajax and Feyenoord back then. It's a hard call away at Newcastle, we need to win these next few games. Fabio has been getting better and better and must score soon. Of course missing Neves effects our dynamics but as I've said before having the experience of boly jonny and marcel reassures me. One things for certain, it'll be a very cold night up there. I think we can do it so I'll stick my neck out at 3-1 wolves, fabio and two others, I don't mind who. Enjoy the sun.

Longmynd. About to say I am just back from your neck of the woods.but now you are in the Netherlands. Get to the coast you might hear the cheers of Wolves fans drifting across the North Sea as the goals go in. Phil.love your enthusiasm, gives the day a great lift. Silva to bag one, I would love to see it.

Actually Abbey/Wimborne I'm in Den Haag so not far from the coast.
Phil, not sure I could cope with working in Birmingham.

Are their team any good now longmynd?

07 Apr 2022 21:26:08
Abbey - Den Haag were relegated to the 2nd Division of Dutch football last year, so probably not too good at the moment.

A big frost in wolverhampton this morning.
Longmynd I love my work/job even though I described being in a dungeon.
When I left my job in wolverhampton to work in Birmingham where I am now in 1996 I had £110 a week more in my wages flat week but worked 10 to 15 hours overtime every week so I earnt loads and loads more.
Was the highest paid in my previous job in wolverhampton on clocking in not staff except for the toolroom charge hand.

Phil, cooler here as well today. Joking aside I came out of manufacturing to move into sales engineering and business development. All of the Brummie car plants were customers.
