Great result today well done to everyone at the Club and all the fans . Wasn’t at the game today but just watched the highlight on the computer and have to agree that that was one of the softest penalty decisions I have seen . Thankfully it didn’t lose any points but it did affect the game there after . Onwards and upwards

I've only seen the highlights as well Bnsq but listening to Villa vloggers Wolves by far the better team, especially in the first half.
I'll stand by my previous comments on Silva, I can see it coming for next season but take a bow Jonny Otto, great strike.
The way Final Score manipulated the match summary to spare Dion Dublin from commenting was both obvious and therefore, hilarious.

I was there and can confirm that we were excellent. The referee was poor and seemed determined to gift Villa a point. It was never a penalty but each and every Wolves player played well.

Is there a better GK than Jose Sa in the PL? I don't think so.

Was there. Excellent in 1st half and should have been 3 or 4 up at half time. Thoroughly deserved victory and again against 12 men. Another shocking referee. Where do they get them. Gives a penalty against Sa for being fouled!

I listened to it on the radio, knew I should have got a ticket to that one. Another great win to show our intent and Man Utd dropping points makes it even more satisfying. I’m guessing Oxley is so happy about 3 points at home he’s lost the ability to type.

Having watched the highlights on Sky I'd love the referee to tell us all what Sa did to be judged as giving away a penalty. Watkins put the ball out for a goal kick then barged into Sa, how was Sa supposed to avoid the collision? Watkins ran into Sa which is obvious to anyone watching. I've no idea how that is a penalty which I'm sure will be confirmed by "experts" i'e retired refs and pundits but of course it won't change the score. The VAR idiot needs suspended for incompetence the on field ref needs a bit of retraining!

Lee Mason was on VAR anyway so even if it was referred the wrong decision would have been made.

Ridiculous penalty. Well played everyone of you. Just a shame we couldn't keep the ball better against Arsenal, West Ham and Leeds. The season will pitter out and 7th will be the best we can hope for.

Possibly true Ragging but for a team tipped for a relegation battle at the start of the season (by some on here and on in the media) 7th would equate to a pretty impressive performance for me!
I also have to echo Jas here, I honestly think we would have been in that relegation battle if not for Mr Jose Sa! If he doesn't get signing of the season at an incredible £6.25m then it can only be cause of a certain Mr Erikson (being free) and even I wouldn't begrudge that! Sa really has been incredible! Even today, that speculative effort from Bailey if that goes in it changes the game. Last minute Cash completely free at the back stick and who's to the rescue to secure the 3 points YET again you guessed it. What a player we've found there, hats off to the back room on that one ?
