Liverpool to be top of the league come 5 o'clock tomorrow evening.
It would mean wolves beating man city and Liverpool beating Aston villa.

Phil, I think Liverpool will beat Villa but we only stand a chance of beating City if we can actually score, as you know, something we've failed to do for the last 3 games. Having said that a penalty would do but to get that we would need a Traore run or spend a lot of time in their box.

I'm being totally honest I don't ever think it will be a good match for us as man City have most of the ball.
It has Traore written all over it to finally score or assist.
I remember last season coady header off mouthino quality delivery from free kick all the more reason to play Traore to get us free kicks.
I go into tomorrow excited as per norm and I hope/prey when we get the few opportunities we take one or more of them.
Long odds I know with our low goal return this season but you never know.

Let’s hope for a repeat of 2 seasons ago when Traore had 2 breakaway goals in a famous victory. City have lost at home to Palace this season and drawn with Southampton.

For me, the frustration is that in general we are playing well, especially, the defence. But are we sacrificing the attacking football we were promised to sit deeper to help the defence.
I'm no expert but it seems to me our lack of goals is a consequence of the tactics, not the players.

Longmynd you may be correct but I don't honestly think enough of the players that we have (very good footballers that they are) are capable of the season figures needed to be a top side. For sake of argument 10 to 20 from the forwards 3 to 10 from attacking midfielders and wingers and up to 3 from the rest.

That is a very fair assessment arddunby, but I think we might just nick a couple tomorrow but will it be pods or adama, hwang or raul, because your right we have no one potential scorer the way we're playing. Always optimistic I'm going 2-1 to us. (Nervously)
