Well its been a while since we turned over one of the top sides, I woyld be delighted if we could but just can't see it yet. Must say its the lack of goals that really concerns me this season. If we can grab a goal or two tomorrow great if it gets us points even better. As someone said in another thread maybe we will get more chances against an expansive side. They have to attack to maintain a title push.

You know what Phil/Arddunby, it wouldn't surprise me if we did get a result tomorrow. I suppose inconsistency implies form can swing both ways, good and bad.
It's not Salah that bothers me, it's Jota. I'm not going to go off on the 'we should never have sold him' rant (although we shouldn't have) but he's got 12 goals already.
Neves will be rested and raring to go and if Podence is available and we keep pressurising them, who knows? Ever the optimist Wolves 2 Liverpool 1.

Against the top sides if you try to play through them you are unlikely to make much progress as they all have top well drilled defenders. That's why we need to do the unexpected which is what Traore brings because I'm not sure he knows what he's going to do! He's far from perfect but he does the unexpected and they will just foul humans maybe to they will make a mistake. Raul can also do the unexpected like he did at Southampton by running at them and creating two goals. If we can defend and stay in the game we will have a chance. I'm optimistic we will get something out of at least one of these games. You've got to remain positive!

E ; The reason we get 0 - 0’s is because the whole team is defending, although what they’re defending is anybody’s guess. The inevitable drop down the table from top six to bottom half well before Xmas has started, the Head Coach is already trying to make a point to the boards by naming eight subs including two goalkeepers and not using the bench at all most of the time. Entertainment value at home games is virtually zero, five goals in seven games at a rate of one every 126 minutes (2hours and 6minutes) - the team is packed with under achieving International players, yet haven’t got a clue how to break teams down and if it was Mr Lage’s idea to catch Burnley on the break he might as well give up now. January’s going to be quite interesting one way or the other.

Longmynd/Ken both good points, the time we've seen ex players hurt us is to numerous to mention, and yes Ron the side is still basically set up as Nuno's side was to defend primarily, the issue now is we lack players who can snatch goals on the break since the departure of Jota and to a lesser degree Doherty. Hwang looked at one stage that he may be the answer but has seemingly gone off the boil lately.

Agree on Jota and for assuming Ron you still got a season ticket it's understandable for home fans at the mol what you say.
I think even though Traore has poor end product at least he has a go and gets the home crowd excited I guess as the game I went to this season the mol crowd were chanting Adama throughout.
But fans want to see goals and wins.
Jota scored agaisnt us last season at the mol.
All that can be done is to hope we get it right as Ken says positive.

Well they do not come much harder than this fixture.
