A Jan sale for Traore is looking ever more likely. if not then the summer. Can't see us getting more than 35 for him at this stage.

Do those funds go straight into a defensive or midfield reinforcement. Do you sign another winger. A lot of questions for us to answer in Jan.

Personally I think a strong midfielder would be my priority. Neto, trincao, hwang, pods, raul, if all fit and still with us give a frontage to provide options. Simarly boly coady kilman seiss marcel Johnny hoever semedo and mosquiro and not forgetting dendonker if all fit should suffice for the time being. But neves and moutininho (who is abit aged now) seem abit lightweight. So I'd love an investment in that area. It'll be interesting and a big turning point as to what happens and how Bruno sees the future, which I also have a question mark over, is Bruno really here for Wolverhampton wanderers or for his progression?

Jeff Shi took a big risk on Bruno he'd only had one full season as a top club manager albeit a successful one that then went awry. So far its going ok for him and us but should he fail with Wolves he's going to struggle to get another. Unless of course he is seen to be unsupported in the transfer market which to be fair so far he has. He can't fully play his style of football though in the glimpses we've had it looks good. Yes it will enhance his reputation if he succeeds but its hardly a stepping stone to better in my view. He has a great opportunity.

Very good points ken68, but to me he dosnt seem, from the comments I've read, to regard himself as a part of the club, more the employee going about his ideas. That said his celebration when we beat Everton looked true to heart. Maybe it's having been accustomed to Nunos father figure approach. As you say though we're not going to be a stepping stone for him unless we do something special. If he does get what he wants and we need in January the pressure will be on. Anyway no matter what COYW.

Still early days for Bruno Abbey it will take a while to form a relationship with the fans like Nuno had, if ever tbh. Nuno just got Wolves fans a created the pack mentality. That for anyone will take some emulating, not going to be easy. He's done ok so far not broken any pots as they say. Let's see what January and the rest of the season brings before we make any serious judgement.

I can't see an overnight revolution happening, by which I mean 5 or 6 new players and a transformation in playing style after 1 transfer window in the same way we saw when Nuno rocked up at the Mol in the summer of 2017. The stakes and costs are so much higher as a prem club. If we are to progress under Bruno it may take a few transfer windows to see where we are going, evolution as funds become available and the necessary players can be found.

Agreed but a couple of viable first team players rather than potential players would be a start to getting moving in his chosen style. We have certainly as i've said seen glimpses so far not sure that we will against West Ham its going to be a tough game! I'm reasonably happy so far he seems to have the players with him. As has been commented on already his substitutions haven't exactly changed games so much. Maybe coming too late in the game to have any bearing on the result. Subs need a bit of time to get into the game I think. Anyway hoping for a good game at the weekend despite Dean being in charge!
