Spurs have sacked Nuno. He wasn't their 1st choice and the players clearly didn't want to play for him. Regardless, he'll always be a legend to us Wolves fans.

Where will we build his statue?

I feel for Nuno, it was a poisoned chalice but hopefully with a handsome payoff. He never seemed the warm patriarchal figure when he did interviews at spurs. He'll always be a Wolverhampton legend tho'. The spoilt wannabees of the 'big 6' are never satisfied and how could nunos approach handle the want to way egos?
Anyway Bruno is our future now and it's a big 3 points we need to take tonight in our steps forward. Everton have had a few problems of late and in the molineux atmosphere I think we'll be OK. I'm guessing at a 4-2 wolves win, mainly because it's on the box and that'd be great entertainment. Seriously, any win tonight puts up in the mix and away from the mistake mush. COYW COYW COYW. Phil, another romping yarn ahead tonight.

None of the more civilised 'by mutual consent' either.

And a statement from Tottenham on Monday morning said: “The club can today announce that Nuno Espirito Santo and his coaching staff Ian Cathro, Rui Barbosa and Antonio Dias have been relieved of their duties. ”

All sounds a bit toxic at Spurs.

Should still be here, obviously didn’t want to back him in the summer transfer window, hard to see there’s been any improvement, still struggling to score (apart from the mad few minutes at Villa) struggling to win at home, still playing five at the back at home, proves you don’t know what you’ve got sometimes and Clubs quite often get their old managers back, West Ham Fans were horrified at the thought David Moyes returning, Chelsea have done likewise in the past and now Spurs want Poch back, some managers just belong at some Clubs and won’t be a good fit anywhere else.

I agree with most of what's been said, I'm not sure Nuno was really the best fit for Spurs. Maybe not a big enough name for a not big enough club based on what their fans probably think. Anyway realistically I'll take a one goal win tonight we are simply struggling to score goals, most of our players just don't seem to be naturally good finishers, thankfully only City, Chelsea and Liverpool have so far conceded fewer.

From Nuno’s last 9 games as Wolves manager we achieved 10 points.
From Bruno’s first 9 games as manager we have achieved 13 points.

That's true E from Wombourn but those three points can put you several places higher in the league at this point in the season, or several places lower without them.

I suspect most fans would take a higher league position over any other aspect, but I suppose Xmas will be a good time to assess if progress is truly being made.

Spurs players have gone swimming today. You'll find them all in the shallow end, obviously!

Thought he was better than he was, he was good for wolves because we had never had any1 who was any good. Engineered his way out of wolves. I am happy he's been sacked.
