With 3 in midfield and 2 up top also my thinking of it as a possibility was that Trincao Traore hwang not in the game enough and a waste if they not getting the ball enough.
Saying that southampton had a top performance previous game to us against man City and should of won with a stone wall penalty that wasn't given so we did well yesterday.
Up the mighty wolves?.

To be honest phil apart from the first minute and Sa's kick up field for rail's goal (which was classly taken and executed) I thought we were looking disinterested. Podence showed some zip but either misplaced or had no support. I said to our lad it looked as if they'd been to the harvester for lunch first and were walking it off. I'll give an excuse though the sun/ cloud/ sun and grey shirts in silhouette could have been easy to see, the sky cameras struggled. But 3 points, confidence growing again and next match home to Newcastle themselves suffering. Be silly to say 6 pointer, (but there I've done it), but another win needed. I'm still confident phil and not feeling, (well a little), sorry for nuno. COYW.

Wolves we just got to keep on enjoy the highs and not get too despondent with the lows.
To be fair it was a rubbish game to watch.
Regarding the socks Niknaklady/ Abbey
I didn't see that but I struggled a bit with the clash of strips.
Only thing I can see why we didn't play in our home shirts was the same colour shorts.
Any road happy we won.

Dunno if that post got sent, but I was saying good on ya phil, you'll feel in the legs later but don't go down with cramp mid-shift, it's catching on on the pitch but P's everyone off.

I get the 3 in midfield but without a goalscoring box to box alrounder (Eg Steven Gerrard sort of player and what many on here have been calling for, even though we all know they're like gold dust! ) I'm not sure it helps with our current squad. We're pretty tight defensively at our best anyway. If the 3 are Neves, Moutinho and Donk I'm not sure it gives us much more offensively. Just my thought.

You're right arddunby and I personally thought that MGW was being groomed in that area during the friendlies and was really surprised when he went to the blades. Snchez maybe if/ when he joins us?
